SimonM
Hi all i've gone thru the list of domain registrars compatible with WHMCS and most if not all want deposits and the like the use them as a resseller. there must be somehtign i'm missing here. there prices start asa rule around the $10 mark then come down to $7.95 if i give them $2000+ in advance. well thats fine and dandy but anyone can get domains for $7.95 or sometimes cheaper from godaddy by just searching for a offer code on google. so the only reason i can see to use any of these providers and pay them a large sum of money in advance is so i can automate domain sales. and even then my prices would have to be above godaddys prices to even make it worthwhile. so is the only option to set domains to the 'emial' registrar and then do it manualy for people ?

JofleyUK
I would highly recommend NetEarthOne, they have always been helpfull. UK/US Telephone numbers. Also their Teir pricing is brilliant. There is an off er to find he easter egg on the website and get a free upgrade to Teir 2 I have been using them for years and wouldn't go anywhere else and the support is second to none.
Nexxterra
You may not make money, you may even need to lose money if you can not get a reseller program that gives you a great rate.... The reason, if someone goes to godaddy or any other site to buy a name, by the time they are finished, they will have been offered hosting many times before checkout, most unless they already have an account with you, will go ahead and buy while they are there! it is worth the hassle and using resellers club through WHMCS is competitive with godaddy.

mjohnson24
I have a godaddy account of my own that i have bought my own domains for myself but not sure if it is a reseller account. i doubt it but. I dont see godaddy in the list of domain registrars on WHMCS admin side to choose from. Most the ones ive viewed in that list take a very LARGE sum of money to start which i dont have. As per the previous post planetdomains.net and netearthone i think or something like that is completely free to use and dont need a deposit or cash upfront to become a reseller?

Planetdomain netearthone directi are all listed on WHMCS as registrars, you can sign up and not pay any up front fees or large deposits. Netearthone and Directi both have the facility for you to sign up your own resellers.

WHMCS CEO Matt Posted March 7, 2010 WHMCS CEO Share Posted March 7, 2010 It's not a minimum deposit with Enom, it's just a minimum payment amount if using PayPal. There's no deposit required with either registrar if you signup through our offers, and if you pay by cheque, no minimum for Enom accounts either like ResellerClub. Matt but for UK businesses its impractical to pay by cheque so therefore their is a minimum $100 payment

easyhosting
easyhostingYou missed that part. - Vincent If you use enom and add funds to your enom account through paypal you have to add a min. $100. this does not apply if you add funds by cheque.
