Are sessions hack proof?

Hello,

 

Do you guys know if WHMCS Sessions are secure?

 

This is the code im using to determine if the user is an admin or not:

if ($_SESSION["adminid"] != "") {
$utype = 2;
} elseif ($_SESSION["uid"] != "") {
$utype = 1;
} else {
$utype = 0;
}
?>

 

I need to know weather or not that is secure.

 

Does WHMCS use a database connection to secure it? Or some sort of method to prevent session fixation?

 

It would be wonderful to know how WHMCS secures the session.
