Modulo Log

Hi;

 

I have this custom modulo integrated to a Brazilian Gateway (MoIP).

Today, after receive a payment the service/account wasn't enabled/created for the client, i went to the "Utilities/Activity Log" and found two lines:

 

06/02/2010 16:12 Running Module Create on Payment admin

06/02/2010 16:12 Email Sent to XXXXXXX (Payment Confirmation)

 

So, the system executed the "Create Function" and if the account wasn't created on the server, the module probably returned an error or something like that, unfortunately i can't find it on the logs.

 

So, my question is:

How add content to the "Activity Log" from the "Create Function" on my module?

What table should i be writing to and is there any special consideration?

 

If i add it to the module, I will be able to monitor it more easily if something goes wrong.
