generic
When you suspend clients in whmcs it still shows the next invoice date. Do we also need to remove this date, or does the suspended nature prohibit the system from creating and charging a new invoice if its a suspended account.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted February 23, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted February 23, 2007 A suspended account will still be invoiced. Only terminated accounts do not get invoiced. Matt
silentkiller
There's only Inactive and Active. Are you referring to the 'Delete Client' option?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted February 23, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted February 23, 2007 No, I was referring to the status of accounts the client has ordered under their profile. A clients status of inactivate prevents them from logging in only.

But if a client's status is Inactive why does his outstanding invoice still shown in Unpaid Invoices and Overdue?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted February 23, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted February 23, 2007 That's the way it is at the current time. You would need to set the invoice to cancelled manually.
generic
thanks, i want to keep the client profile in the system, but also leave the data on the server so the clients data is still there just in case they return and i did not want to have to re do everything nor did i want to have new invoices credited, I did not understand setting them to terminated was only an admin whmcs command, i thought it actually terminated them like a server command.... I set them as terminated but did not actually Terminate it using the server commands. mission accomplished with regards to a product/service, thanks. what about any domains associated with that client, there is no way to terminate a domain, will the terminated product service effect the domain, or do i have to remove that domain from the clients profile from the system to not have it invoiced. does "expired" work the same as "terminated" for domains?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted February 27, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted February 27, 2007 Yes, Expired for domains works the same as Terminated for products/services.
