We are looking into WHMCS, and have been working on scripts to transfer data from our existing system into WHMCS.
When adding orders for domain names, there are two dates visible from the administration: 1/ expiry date and 2/ next due date. In the actual table `tbldomains` there is actually one additional date field 'nextinvoicedate' (which I expect is not yet being utilised).
Can someone please explain how these various dates are used within WHMCS. I would have expected the domains expiry date to be the "next due date", and if a client does pay to renew before then the domain just expires. Should the next due date simply be the expiry date? Why would they be different?
