Cancelling Invoice Cancels Domains too.

Hi. I have STF, but I can't seem to find the correct search terms to find the answer - which I'm sure has already been disucssed to death probably. :)

When we cancel an invoice, it cancels the recurring items that are on that invoice. I think this is a 'feature' that needs changing. It should, at the least, ASK if we want to cancel the recurring billing on those items.

Also, when we view a domain that was on an invoice that has been cancelled - so viewing a domain that is now no longer recurring billing... there is no apparent way to tell if it's recurring or not, is there? So, at the least, as a Feature Request, we should be able to view and/or change the recurring billing status of an item.

I know that it's been said that if you change the expiry or renewal date forward and back 1 day, that'll reset that 'flag', but the problem still is that there is no way I can figure to see if it's going to renew next year or not.

Why cancel the entire invoice when you can just delete the items that were cancelled ? Then all you would have to do is cancel just the orders for the non-domain items.

Once you have cancelled the non-domain orders all that will be left to be recurring would be the domains.

I have done this before and it works just fine.

Hi. Well, there are times when an invoice just needs to be deleted. I guess maybe I could delete all the items off that invoice and leave a blank invoice in the system, but I'm sure my customers would be asking why they are getting a 2nd and 3rd notice on their $0 invoice. :)

My core question is: there is no apparent way to tell if an domain or hosting product is going to be recurring or not, is there? Rather than monkeying with the date forward & back a day, we should be able to view and/or change the recurring billing status of an item.

Even if I do put the date forward/back a day, there is still no way I can figure to see if it's going to renew next year or not. That is to say, no way to see if the ''recurring billing'' flag has been reset properly. If it is a flag in the database, then it should be a minor issue to have it display somewhere.
