tqhosting
Hi, If running a promotion on a specific product on your website. Is it possible to create a link that would take the user to the cart and auto-apply the promotion code so the user doesn't have to "remember" the promo code during the process, it will auto-fill for them, or when they click the link apply the promo automatically? Your responses are welcome.
tqhosting
Nevermind, I found an entry in the KB that explains how to do it.
thehost5968
Remember you can only have one code in at a time but that code can be used for many items?
tqhosting
Ok, we changed the default order template to "singlepage" and it broke the auto-apply promo code. This is what I had before when using the "boxes template and it worked fine: https://www.rootbsd.net/manage/order.php?step=2&pid=15&promocode=XXXX now, with the singlepage template, the URL is completely different and adding the &promocode=XXXX to the end does not work. Suggestions? Edited December 22, 2009 by tqhosting

sparky
try using cart.php instead of order.php https://www.rootbsd.net/manage/cart.php?a=add&pid=15&promocode=XXXX
tqhosting
I tried using cart.php instead that doesn't work, either. It re-directs to the product listing page
