  1. I'd like to keep my navbar menu, even on mobile since it is very short. Where to I remove the mobile menu? I've tried @media changes to no avail. Thanks for the help! PS - I created this topic, since my last, incorrect one I couldn't edit or delete.
  2. Hi! I have a very small menu and i would like to always have it visible and not use the hamburger menu. Where would I go about doing this? I looked in various templates and tried the change the @media, but nothing works. It even collapses on ipad portrait. Thank you!
  3. Ok, here's the deal: I am running 5.2.10. I want to update to 6.3. I created a folder called "new" and put in a fresh installation of 6.3 and a new database. All went well with the install. Here are my problems: 1. I cannot access my new install admin, because the license doesn't cover a different folder. How can I work on the new install and keep the old one going? 2. How do I import my data from the old version into the new one? Is it even possible? (don't care about templates) Thanks everyone! I apologize if this question has been asked over and over again - I couldn't quite find the answers to my specific situation.
  4. Well, these are now the choices PayPal offers: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/merchant This is the documentation for "partners" on configuring it: https://www.x.com/sites/default/files/paypal_payments_advanced_configuration_for_partners.pdf I'm guessing this will have to be a part of the next generation of whmcs, since the "old" paypal system is going to disappear.
  5. Hi, now that PayPal has changed their features, many are signing up for PayPal Payments Advanced rather than website payments pro. I spoke with the PayPal people and they tell me that their new 'Standard' and 'Advanced' levels use a completely different technology for processing online, using a popup window for credit card entry, rather than your own form. Has anyone developed a gateway module for this yet? I'd like to get one, because I, like many others I'm sure, will be switching to the Advanced rather than pro, because it saved $25 per month!
  6. I have clients that I've created sites for, who are now registering (without purchasing). If I send an invoice to a newly registered client for a paypal subscription signup, will they continue to get invoices each month, or will they just get 'statements'? I'd hate for them to get an invoice to pay if it's an automatic subscription.
  7. Great, so then they'll get the invoice, and when they go to pay - their new subscription in paypal will be created. Will they continue to get invoices each month on a subscription, or will they just get 'statements'? I'd hate for them to get an invoice to pay if it's automatic.
  8. Hello all, I'm sure the question has been asked, but I just need a little help before I mess anything up! I moved to a new server and now use WHMCS. I had my clients create new accounts and register, then I imported the details from cpanel and merged the data successfully (yay!). Here's what I want to know: - These were existing clients for years, using PayPal subscriptions. - Now that I'm using WHMCS (still using paypal gateway), I'd like to cancel their old subscriptions via paypal, and start fresh using WHMCS Do I just create a new invoice for the client, then send it out? When they get the invoice and pay, will that then create their new subscription? Or do I just put the "next due date" in their profile and they will get an invoice to sign up and pay? Not quite sure how to do this... Thanks for the help!
  9. Ahh, that answered my question. No, I did not have any existing user accounts. I thought by importing them all, it would allow them the same password as their cpanel (or something similar). I think the best thing to do is ask them all to sign up for an account, and then import and merge. I'm assuming if I import AFTER they've created, there's a way to merge, pick and choose which import goes with which existing whmcs account? Thank you!
  10. I've just imported all of my accounts from cpanel into whmcsEverything worked great. Now, how do I find and give everyone their password to their great new client area of whmcs? Is this something I need to do myself for each client, or was something imported? Thanks! Also, as a sidenote, is there a way to add another column to the client list?
