I'm trying to set up my registrar and can't seem to find one that doesn't ask for a deposit or money up front. I'm new to hosting and I'm guessing I need to have a registrar for my clients to check domain names and to register with my hosting service. When I go to the client area and choose a package, I can't get past the "Shopping Cart" I don't know if I can set up a TLD in WHMCS without a registrar, can I? Any help would be greatly appreciated

What is a domain alias and where do I find the section you're referring to? I've done a search for it and can't find it anywhere.

What I'd like to know is how to set up your domain transer in the "client area".? It shows http://www.___________.___ A client can't choose .com or any other extension for a domain. I don't want to sell domain names, I just want to do the hosting. How can I set up the whois lookup as well as the transfer domain sections? I wish I could attach images to make these questions easier to understand.
