  1. Hi all ... I have a quick question about billing ... I have my system set to bill all clients on the 1st of the month and the invoices go out 5 days before that. I also have the prorating set to the 15th of the month. I have 1 client who has asked me to change his billing date to the 20th of the month, which is fine with me, but I want to have everyone else remain being billed on the 1st, prorated on the 15th for new clients. This one client's bill was already paid for this month and he told me to go ahead and make the change, which means that he will also be billed on the 20th of this month to cover from 11/20 -> 12/20. I went into his profile and changed the next billing date to the 20th of this month so the next invoice should go out on the 15th and then he should be charged on the 20th. Now here's my question: Since I have changed his billing date for this hosting product in his profile, will the system automatically continue to bill him on the 20th of each month (unless I change it in his profile again) and everyone else continue to be billed on the 1st (prorated on the 15th) or am I going to have to go in each month and make sure he isn't charged on the 1st and change the due date to the 20th manually? Does anyone know? TIA!
  2. Thank you jegavelan ... that worked prefectly ... for others who might run into this ... I had the box checked but forgot to rename the htaccess.txt file ... I unchecked the box you spoke about and it worked, so I went back in and checked the box again and actually renamed the file this time and it still worked I appreciate the help!
  3. Hi all ... I have only been using WHMCS for a couple months now and I'm finally getting around to creating my knowledgebase articles but I'm have a challenge ... I can go into the admin area and create the category and also create articles within the category. When I go to view them in the admin area everything looks fine. When I try to view them through the portal, or even logged in as a client, the category shows as a link, the article shows as a link but when you click on the article I get a 404 not found error. So I logged into the server and looked at the url for the article and there is no directory structure for the knowledgebase (or downloads for that matter) and therefore the article doesn't exist. The category and article are also not created when I save them in the admin area. Did I miss something in setting up my system? Shouldn't these directories have been created during the setup or is this something I need to manually do? What is the procedure for setting up the knowledgebase and the downloads? Do I have to manually create these directories before inserting any catgeories and articles (or downloads) and if so what permissions are needed? I appreciate any assistance! Thank you!
