  1. Yep, I tend to agree. I've gone through my order form and the Stripe module install with a fine toothcomb a few times now and still. payments would not complete on first time orders, first time (even on default, non customised order forms). Second attempts are usually successful. I've accepted that using the module without stripe.js and whatever the risk of PCI compliance liabilities that entails is better than losing orders. At least orders are completeing which gives me confidence in the module now. Giving root access to support was never going to happen.
  2. Can you expand on why your asking this please? It suggests to me that one set (portal or default) should not be used in custom templates.
  3. I think it is as Joe indicated earlier. I haven't got a satisfactory solution yet as I'm still looking for a possible cause by comparing my custom order form templates against the latest default ones in WHMCS. Using the WHMCS default viewcart.tpl (no link to ccforms) form seems to fix the 'invalid credit card number' problem but I think this method has PCI compliance issues because credit card details go through the WHMCS server first, whereas the Stripe module uses stripe.js which is more secure as credit card numbers do not go through server.
  4. Thanks, I've just done the same (removed link to ccforms) and all good now
  5. You're right, thanks Joe. Using a default WHMCS order form I can see a dropdown list of card choices and start date select that I do not currently have in my cart.
  6. I've noticed that first payment attempt always fails in that no CC payment goes through immediately during ordering. In the Stripe logs it always says it's an invalid credit card number but when client tries again next time, it's working fine. The upshot is every client that does try again has a 'Credit Card Payment Failed' email recorded and a 'Credit Card Payment Confirmation' email (I lose the order if client does not try again). I have checked with one other host who has confirmed they have similar issue. Could the above be a bug in the module (like passing an empty credit card number to Stripe according to the logs)? *Edit Using latest WHMCS version and Stripe module
  7. What is the solution for clients who order more addon domains than subdomains, when ordering Configurable Package Addon plan? For example, the following options maybe selected: Addon Domains: 10 Subdomains: 1 The problem is that cPanel adds a subdomain each time an added domain is created and because you only have one subdomain option, trying to add more than one addon domain will fail with a subdomain warning.
  8. Just a guess but the above appears to have conflicting arguments, i.e. (free domain if product is renewed) followed by a One Time cycle. Have you tried selecting other billing cycles except the One Time option?
  9. You've saved my sanity Doc Brian! Thank you!
  10. Yes, definately built in. I clicked something and the option was there (you need to configure such and such to complete etc), it may be that I had to purchase a plugin, I never attempted to configure at the time so I can't say. It is doing my head in now trying to find it again
  11. Thanks for your initial answer brian though I have yet to try it. >I think this will just disable the information from showing, but the red box would still be there. Yes, I had same result disabling System Overview widget
  12. I recently upgraded and whilst looking for any new options I clicked or checked something and an option to configure appeared to setup a questionare for clients on how they found the website and I thought I'd do it later. It is mainly to give info on where best to target your advertising. Now I can't find it, where is it?
  13. I've also recently been forced to upgrade from 5.0.8 due to exploit and don't like newer version at all Anyway, re attachment - try checking you have System Overview widget checked (possibly need others checking too) in: Setup >> Staff Management >> Administrator Roles Not sure about your invoices but you can see unpaid ones in: Billing >> Invoices >> Unpaid Have you tried entering invoice number in the Intelligent Search?
  14. What is the best way to disable or remove the Admin Summary > Attention Items Bar?
  15. In WHMCS admin I can see Product/Service listed in client summary, I can also see the Products in the drop-down list in Client Profile page. The problem is that the Product/Service is missing in the Clients Profile details section - see attached image. If I click save changes in the hope of fixing, the above Products in the drop-down list is removed and the product is also removed from client login area. I've just updated from 5.0.8 to version 5.1.10 with latest patch for exploit.
