  1. ok we got it, the template we have is not functioning the way we wanted it to. we changed to the default template and made the changes and it did work fine....thanks again.
  2. Patrik, we had the same issues, it is kind of a pill to deal with. one thing i would recommend is checking the API logs over on your reseller panel at rcs.darkstarllc.com to see errors. we had several issues with this. the main issue was that you have to create ONE instance of the service in whmcs, so that means one product with many configurable options. Our biggest mistake was that when we created the package we did not know that the words "Slots" and "Data Center" were case sensitive....so it failed on creation. we have one final issue with the vent/whmcs integrations and are waiting to get the "how to" on it. Let me know if you still cant get it to work.....we wouldn't mind helping you out if your still using darkstarllc/vent with their plug in. /** * These are used for the WHMCS Plugin. */ define("configoptions_VOICE_SLOTS_VARIABLE_NAME", "Slots"); define("customfields_DATA_CENTER_VARIABLE_NAME", "Data Center"); and on the giving a customer the ip and port, i assume you mean via whmcs and the email systems? yeah that doesn't work but in your reseller package from darkstarllc they had you set up a control panel buy you adding an A name dns record. each time you make a successful API connection via whmcs it will set the server up then send them an email about their new service. in that email what we did is send them to the voice control panel URL, the password is created by whmcs and only support/admins can see. Itis a pain but it can be given/sent to the customer via the support system......its a work around for the whole thing and seems to be working for our team.
  3. sorry for the delay in responce. I wanted to add that i am using whmc 4.3.1. somethings are a bit different. This did not work for our application. i noticed that several other post were asking questions about this in some form or another, the reference to "configureproduct.tpl" is an older model of the script, i think. The ver we are using is /order/templates/productconfig.tpl here is a sample of the billing cycle section: <select name="billingcycle" onchange="cyclechange()"> {if $pricing.monthly}<option value="monthly"{if $billingcycle eq "monthly"} selected="selected"{/if}>{$pricing.monthly}</option>{/if} {if $pricing.quarterly}<option value="quarterly"{if $billingcycle eq "quarterly"} selected="selected"{/if}>{$pricing.quarterly}</option>{/if} {if $pricing.semiannually}<option value="semiannually"{if $billingcycle eq "semiannually"} selected="selected"{/if}>{$pricing.semiannually}</option>{/if} {if $pricing.annually}<option value="annually"{if $billingcycle eq "annually"} selected="selected"{/if}>{$pricing.annually}</option>{/if} {if $pricing.biennially}<option value="biennially"{if $billingcycle eq "biennially"} selected="selected"{/if}>{$pricing.biennially}</option>{/if} {if $pricing.triennially}<option value="triennially"{if $billingcycle eq "triennially"} selected="selected"{/if}>{$pricing.triennially}</option>{/if} </select we are still having the same issue with this. since we are not coders and it is not an option that is standard, again, any suggestions are welcome. thanks;) i have attached a copy of our productconfig.tpl file below productconfig.txt
  4. Right on! thanks for the excellent input! i will check this out in the morning and report back with what we see. thank you again for the assistance.......it is very much appreciated.
  5. John, thank you for the reply. This should be a very simple Modification. When we set the Ventrilo Module up and the client selects which billing cycle they would like to have (monthly, annually ect ). as you can see in this image, there is $0.01 ( or a monetary amount) in front of the Monthly, this is what we wanting to remove from the module. see it live here: http://cp.tgservers.com/cart.php?gid=21 i am sure when we are shown what to do this will turn out to be very simple, thanks again for the support/reply.
  6. yes that has been turned off. Matt did reply on our support ticket however we are still a bit confused. His reply is: You can enable a billing cycle with a price of "0.00" so you can set the price to that and then to hide the dropdown you could do that by customizing the configureproduct.tpl template file in your active order form template folder and simply change it to a hidden input box, or enclose it in a div with a "display:none;" attribute assigned to it in CSS - that will then hide it from view. we located the productconfig.tpl ( NOT configureproduct.tpl ) in order/templates/ and there is a a place in that file to set these modifications in place however doing so will set it site wide if i am correct. What we are trying to do is remove the $0.00 just in the ventrilo section so as not miss inform the customer to think it is "free". If anyone in the community can help walk us through this it would much appreciated.
  7. we are trying to allow the users to pick a billing cycle without having $0.00 in the billing cycle as seen here: thanks!
  8. any chance someone could further define where the "pricing field" is located in other areas of the script aside from the the Tcadmin module? Thanks we are trying to allow the users to pick billing without having $0.00 in the billing cycle as seen here: thanks in advance for any help
  9. i am also interested in this......any idea would be awesome. thanks!
  10. nice, thanks for the input. im sure we wernt the only ones that have seen this happen.
  11. We were testing some server features today and found something we hope is helpful to the community. When we did a Google on it we found a lot of info pointing to users that may be having issues while implementing the [MOD] TLS, not sure what that is yet. Our error was produced while tweaking our ConfigServer Firewall (csf) found at here If your CSF firewall security level settings (WHM>Plugins> ConfigServer Security&Firewall>Firewall Security Level) are set to anything higher than "low" you will receive an email server connection error in your whmcs while attempting to send any kind of SMTP mail. We have found a few work arrounds but not a solid way to implement the medium to high settings with out seeing smpt errors in whmcs; if anyone has worked with this let us know and keep the thread alive. Here is the error we were seeing. customers will see this on sign up, ticket submissions or while placing an order. Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to mail.domain.com:25 (Connection timed out) in /home/user/public_html/whmcs/includes/class.smtp.php on line 122 Email Sending Failed - SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
  12. Joomla Has a Custom Code Module that you can add LINK. i messed around with it and placed the WHMcs intagration code in place of the Joomla Login Module and it worked fine as long as you are not depending on Joomla to manage your customers this will work. I hope this helps.
  13. Unlimited is a "farce" i agree, there is no such thing as unlimited it is almost a sure sign of "overselling." We use the word "unmetered." We build the accounts expecting them use use it, after all that is what the upgrade button is for. One of the other ones is 99% uptime..... i just noticed this comment "well that's cause its a VPS - so they can Max their VPS allocation - and its only ever going to effect that VPS only. not all the other virtual installs on the server.... " you can over load the node...by overloading a container or "VPS"
  14. FMFHOST, hey i had the same issue......all i had to do is log back in, go to the servers select the one i need the stats for and at the end of the Url......http://mydomain.com/status/index.php/ just ad the forward slash and it works. hope this helps
