  1. I have a product that charges a monthly fee for website maintenance and support etc. I have notified the customer that I will be increasing the price as of April. How do I best go about this? I have set up a new product for the new price If I choose upgrade - it tries to charge a pro rata extra amount from today to end of the month Should I auto terminate or something and then set up new product If so how do I set the new product to the same activation and due date as the old one?
  2. Brian You have been most helpful. Helped a lot - I don't mess with WHMCS much so forget the detail. It just works for me. I thought it checked for latest versions automatically but then found a manual button to check and it found 7.9.2 Just done the update THANKS :)

  4. Brian I must apologise for being slow here - I am a bit confused 7.7.1 is latest version isn't it? You mentioned above: but also said in previous post so you said the template is very old and depricated Updating WHMCS would install latest - but I have latest WHMCS So what do I need to change to avoid the out of date and depricated template and change from vertical steps? cheers and apologies again if I am missing the obvious

  6. Hi I am not too interested in customising the templates much apart from adding my logo. I have the general setting pointing at six and sometime in the past have worked out how to get my logo to show (can't remember now - but it is working 🙂 ) However setting spotlight TLDs and some set to SALE etc do not show up? Can you have a look and tell me if I am somehow using an old template please or if I am up to date? v 7.7.1 https://billing.neltek.com If I can establish this first I can then look at why the features are not working...

I'm on v 7.7.0 Have created a quote with items and costs When I download the pdf or email to customer - it shows the headings and notes but none of the item lines with costs I tried printing - and it shows all the quote, but then when I click on download from the print screen - the downloaded file has the missing info again ?
  9. ah ok My solution was to add new order with invoice and notification boxes UNTICKED then accept order then in service set date then generate due invoices (would be great if you could set dates when order is created)

I can see how to add a new order for a specific service for a customer to start now Is there any way I can get it to start at a future date Specific is they have just paid 2nd installment of an invoice I set up last year - the 2nd installment includes a more expensive monthly hosting fee I have cancelled old service and this invoice has paid for a month of hosting So want to set them up on a recurring service for the higher priced hosting but don't want it to start for about 10 days from now once the current payment period has expired But I want to set it up now so it send the invoice automatically on the start date without me having to remember any ideas?

I have a client where I have split a setup and web design fee into 2 installmants 1 year apart and agreed a lower 1st year monthly maintenance fee The 2nd half invoice has been generated which includes the 1st installment of the maintenance fee at the higher rate... The customer has just paid the last lower priced invoice for maintenance How do I cancel that lower priced service and start a new recurring one at the higher price to start in April 2019 (the higher price service already exists in my list of services)? [I can't immediately see the option to cancel the old service - I can see an upgrade option but this generates a part invoice for the difference - I need to cancel the old one and not start the new one for over a month in the future]
  16. I have had a support ticket raised asking why their domain has not moved to Yell yet... I am with Resellerclub I could not find what they were talking about, then in Utilities -> logs -> Activity Log I found an entry saying: "Client Requested Domain Release to Tag Yell" A) I can't find this anywhere else as an action to complete? Shouldn't WHMCS have told me of the request, and have an action to complete? B) Now I know about it - although I don't know for which domain!!!! What do I do? I have scanned the documentation and can't find anything relevant I have searched the forum and can't find anything about transfer out and setting a TAG Please Help Ian
  17. The widgets in documentation don't seem to have the one liner I see they say you can use widgets to display stuff on your website but can't find the explanation of how? The wiki link seems to be no more?
