  1. Is there any documentation how the rules work?
  2. It has been a week with no response. Can anyone give some answers to this?
  3. When a client submits a trouble ticket, it comes to me. I then assign the ticket to a tech. However, once I assign the ticket to the tech, I want to be able to receive e-mails everytime he or the client responds to the trouble ticket. How do I do this?
  4. Can someone explain how invoicing and tickets interface? At the bottom of tickets there is a place to do a billing entry. I have done testing and it don't seem to work, but then I don't know how it is suppose to work. I would assume I could enter a description and a price, then choose an option from the dropdown menu. Can you explain what happens with each option: Invoice Immediately Does it actually create a new invoice for the client? If so, is the client notified immediately? Don't Invoice for Now What happens with the info you enter, where does it go? I can't find it anywhere. Invoice on Next Cron Run I assume it creates an invoice automatically at the next cron run. Does the customer get notified when it creates the invoice and cron is run? Add to User's Next Invoice How does this work. When I create a new invoice for the customer, it immediately enters the entry. What if I made 10 entries over time and then create an invoice? Will it enter all 10 entries as soon as I create the invoice? Regardless of the option chosen, there seems to be another issue. How can you choose the option and save it without having to create a response to the ticket?
  5. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
  6. There is one other thing I am noticing. When a person goes to have a domain transferred the price is showing the register price, not the transfer price. However, when they go to complete the order, the correct transfer price is shown.
  7. ok-great. Just encountered a 'problem'. I have Ticked this box to use the default Enom nameservers for new domain registrations. My understanding would be that when this is ticked the domain will be pointed to the Enom nameservers. (Thus parked with Enom). However, when I go to place an order, under nameservers it is showing my server dns, not enoms. Is it because enom is transparent? So in other words even though it shows to the client my dns, once the order is placed the domain is actually going to be parked with enom? Thus after the order, if I was to go into the client's account the nameserver would then show enom? I do not want to be parking domain names. I want them parked with enom and then if the person gets hosting from me, they would then be moved to by dns.
  8. Looking at * I cabbot figure out how to edit. Where would I put a different URL?
  9. All within WHMCS-that is great!!!! Like that. So, when the customer purchases a domain as far as they know they are purchasing it from me. Great!!! Then would the following be true. The customer buys a domain from me. I have it setup that the nameservers are with Enom, so I know the domain is being parked by enom. The customer has no idea. The customer decides to get hosting from me. I could at that time go into their account and change the nameservers on their doman, is that correct? Or do I have to go to enom to change the nameservers? I ask this because most of my customers would rather have me handle everything, so need to know how I would handle it. OK, just figured out the Enom refill/funds issue.
  10. I am ready to go live, but still not sure how the Enom interface works. Does the enduser get an e-mail from Enom after they purchase a domain? How do they know how to manage their domain-say they want to change their nameservers. (I have that as an activated feature when they register a domain)
  11. I have have configured: Setup > Domain Registrars > Enom..... I have a reseller account. I have activated API with Enom giving them my server IP address. With all this in place, how does the process take place. The customer places an order for a domain or for hosting and a domain. When they submit this order, what is the process that then takes place?
  12. I do not want to offer the affiliate feature to the general public. But I do want one of my techs to participate in the affiliate program. I don't mind them having to be registered as a client. What can I do to make this work? Is it possible to turn on affiliate feature, assign them as an affiliate, and then turn off the affiliate feature. With the feature turned off, would it still work for them, just prevent new affliates?
  13. >Will my clients actually be able to manage their domain names within my WHMCS? yes, if the domain is in *your* enom account (i.e. *NOT* in a sub-account) How are the clients able to manage their domain through WHMCS? What if they need to change nameserver, forwarding, etc. I don't see how they can do this.
  14. Totally confused on how all domain purchasing works. I just created a test client account. I just placed a test order for a domain. I just made payment via PayPal. I was redirected to the client page. How does the client's info get to Enom for the domain registration. I thought this was an automated registration process.
  15. Can someone explain to me the step by step process of how enom reseller process works when a person places an order in the following scenario. I am setup as a reseller with Enom. I have entered my pricing in WHMCS. A customer places and order for a domain. They go to PayPal to make payment. What happens next? Are they redirected to Enom to enter their domain registration info?
  16. I have a new install of v 4.0 I just went into a client and chose 'Click here to place an order'. I get the error message. I am using enom as the reseller and I am in text mode.
  17. If there is no way to accomplish what I want can someone just give me a no, instead of me just waiting for a no to come.
  18. Still have not received an answer for this topic. Further research shows that it appears you cannot have department custom fields in trouble ticket e-mails. But what about question 2. Can I have the department custom fields appear when a person submits a ticket? How do I make this work?
  19. Just realized that the sucstom fields appear under client profile, not under the summary page.
  20. How do you make it so that a custom field that a customer fills out when creating an account to appear on the client profile summary page? I assume there are custom field tags that can be entered in the clientsummary file.
  21. I need the same and it only makes sense that if a person is creating a ticket for a specific department that the signature in the e-mail should be for that dept.
  22. Any suggestions on how to make this work? I am ready to go live and this is the one that is unresolved.
  23. I have become a reseller for Enom through WHMCS. I have gone into Domain Pricing and entered Enom for the various TLDs. I have enterd the registrar settings for Enom under Domain Registrars. When I go click on Domain Checker, enter a domain, and click Lookup, all that happens is the page refreshes with no info. Also, going to another site that uses WHMCS I notice on their domain checker page it shows pricing on the page. My page does not show pricing.
  24. I have created some custom dept fields. I want it so that when someone submits a ticket that they have to fill out the custom dept fields in the ticket. I want it so that when the ticket e-mail is sent the tech can see in the e-mail these custom dept fields. Also, when the tech logs in to view this ticket they can see these custom dept fields. 1. Is it even possible for them to be viewed in a e-mail (be inserted in the e-mail template). If so what is the tag I enter into the e-mail template? 2. I assume that I must edit the supportticketsubmit-steptwo.tpl to enter the custom dept fields. What is the tag I use to identify them so that they carry over into the actual ticket that is viewed online? 3. Do I need to edit anything else? 4. Note: I have two means for clients to submit tickets. For one department they do not have a user account. For another department they must have an account to submit a ticket. Will the above goals work for either type of ticket submission?
