  1. *FIXED* For your information, I removed the homeloader php extension and all is fine.
  2. Hi all, I have been running WHMCS (now v5.1.4) successfully on my VPS for around 4 years. However, the last 3 days I have been having an issue with WHMCS pages not loading at all. A restart of Apache temporarily solves the problem, but it comes back after a few minutes/hour. Sometimes a page won't load first time and requires a page refresh. When I successfully load a page in my WHMCS portal (i.e. before WHMCS disappears completely), I instantly get the following message. Apache error log: [Mon Mar 18 09:30:32 2013] [error] [client I.P.Address] File does not exist: /home/ftph/public_html/favicon.ico [Mon Mar 18 09:30:32 2013] [error] [client I.P.Address] File does not exist: /home/ftph/public_html/404.shtml [Mon Mar 18 09:30:32 2013] [notice] child pid 16151 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) I am also getting a 'zend_mm_heap corrupted' error in the log. After reading up on the problem, it seems that it may be caused by a PHP addon module. The only addon that is being used is IonCube loader (required for WHMCS of course). My other websites on the same VPS are not affected (which tallies with the above diagnosis). I have updated php, re-uploaded a fresh copy of Ioncube loader 5.3 and restarted the server, however the problem persists. # php -v gives: PHP 5.3.22 (cli) (built: Mar 16 2013 11:40:08) Copyright © 1997-2013 The PHP Group Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright © 1998-2013 Zend Technologies with the ionCube PHP Loader v4.2.2, Copyright © 2002-2012, by ionCube Ltd. Also, I thought it could be a mem issue, so: # free -m total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 1126 250 876 0 0 0 -/+ buffers/cache: 250 876 Swap: 0 0 0 Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Gareth
  3. Hi all. I'm just wondering if the following is feasible? Are there any modules/control panels that can integrate WHMCS with Samba based storage? Basically, I would like to be able to automatically create/have users be able to administer their own samba users and their data storage access rights/home directory etc I guess sort of like the FTP functionality in WebsitePanel (DNP) but for Samba. I don't require the "conventional" hosting features for this project, just the samba storage. I think that Virtualmin allows the control of Samba although i'm not sure to what extent. Thanks, Gareth
  4. Problem solved... I recompiled apache and php with soap enabled via whm (for some reason I could not just enable soap in whm). Now WHMCS communicates just fine with DNP. Thanks, Gareth
  5. Further information... I am trying to install the SOAP extension from within my WHM control panel but get the following message: Installing PHP Extensions and Applications Package "SOAP" WARNING: "pear/HTTP_Request" is deprecated in favor of "pear/HTTP_Request2" WARNING: "pear/Net_URL" is deprecated in favor of "pear/Net_URL2" downloading SOAP-0.12.0.tgz ... Download of "pear/HTTP_Request" succeeded, but it is not a valid package archive Error: cannot download "pear/HTTP_Request" Has anyone else had the same problem? I have also tried updating pear but it says that no update is required. Thanks again, Gareth
  6. Thanks for the reply.. Yes, it seems that you are right. Here's a previous thread from Pod: "whmcs v4.2.x and DotNetPanel (DNP) this is regards to whmcs v4.2.x and DotNetPanel (DNP). For anyone that didnt know as this was not mentioned in any release notes for whmcs but the DotNetPanel module no longer uses nusoap. You now must enabe the php soap extension that is built into PHP now." Now i've just got to work out how to enable the php soap extension. Thanks a lot, Gareth
  7. Hey guys, I've been running WHMCS with DotNetPanel for over a year now without problems. However, since the guys at WHMCS kindly upgraded me to the latest version (4.2.1) WHMCS can no longer communicate with DNP at all. I have not changed any settings in WHMCS or DNP at all. I was previously using v4.0 i think. For example, when a new customer signs up for a package in WHMCS, the hosting package is no longer set up automatically in DNP. Also, when I try to create the package in DNP manually from WHMCS I just get a blank screen. I've not changed any PHP/SOAP settings etc either. Obviously, this is very worrying as I am losing business at the moment. Has anyone else had any similar problems since upgrading to the new version? Thanks, Gareth
  8. Thanks a lot pjs32. That did the trick!
  9. Has anyone got any ideas about this? I'm currently not using domains in DNP or WHMCS (don't know if this has any bearing) as I am only using it for FTP storage for my business. I'm willing to pay someone for their time if this can be sorted. Thanks Gareth
  10. The plot has now thickened slightly!... When a customer signs up for a package in WHMCS the DNP account is not automatically created (even though the WHMCS settings say it should be upon signup). The problem seems to be due to WHMCS not specifying a username (for new customer) automatically. When I log into WHMCS the username text box is blank, although there is a password. If I leave it blank and manually attempt to create the package it fails. However, if I type in a username and click "save", then "create" package.. it creates the customer and their package in DNP fine. Is there a way of automatically creating the username upon signup? (ideally the users email address) so that I don't have to log into WHMCS to manually specify the username each time? Many thanks for anyone's time Gareth
  11. Thanks a lot for all the time spent on this Chris. Still not sure what the problem was using the 1&1 virtual server to host WHMCS but got it working on your servers now. Many thanks, Gareth
  12. Thanks Chris I've checked that i'm running PHP5, with CURL (shows up on phpinfo page) and I don't believe i'm running SUPHP. Can't find any reference to it anywhere. Perhaps the problem is because DNP is running on Win2003 SBS version? Thanks
  13. Just a thought... I don't need to have php installed on the dotnetpanel enterprise/server machine as well do I? This is really stumping me. I was hoping to have active customers using WHMCS and DNP by now. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
  14. Hi Onionman, I'm using DNP V2.8.3 for all components. Thanks for your time Gareth
  15. Thanks for the help Chris. I've tried a few things to get this working... updated php version to 5.2.9 and plesk to v9 on WHMCS virtual server. Still nothing working. This is so frustrating! Does this mean anything to anyone: Module Command Error Server was unable to read request. ---> There is an error in the XML document. ---> Input string was not in a correct format. (this is displayed in WHMCS when i try to update/suspend/change package etc any account in dotnetpanel from whmcs which was supposedly previously created successfully from WHMCS). Thanks Gareth
  16. Hi Andy. Thanks a lot for the reply. I've made sure that the dotnetpanel reseller username/password is correct in WHMCS. By "disabling the policies" do you just mean removing the username and password? I've just cleared my audit log and then tried to process a customer again. The log created is as follows: Started Finished Severity Username Source Task Item-Name 4/28/2009 2:08:46 PM 4/28/2009 2:08:46 PM Information User Get by username/password reseller Then when I click on the log item it just displays the ip address of the server that whmcs is installed on. Do i have to add this ip address as an "allowed ip" in dotnetpanel or something? Here is the relevant IIS server log too: 2009-04-27 11:00:40 W3SVC2044100584 192.168.1.65 GET /esPackages.asmx WSDL 9002 - (WHMCS server IP) NuSOAP/0.7.3+(1.114) 200 0 0 2009-04-27 11:00:42 W3SVC2044100584 192.168.1.65 POST /esPackages.asmx - 9002 - (WHMCS server IP) NuSOAP/0.7.3+(1.114) 200 0 0 2009-04-27 11:08:02 W3SVC2044100584 127.0.0.1 GET /esAuthentication.asmx - 9002 - 127.0.0.1 - 200 0 0 2009-04-27 11:18:02 W3SVC2044100584 127.0.0.1 GET /esAuthentication.asmx - 9002 - 127.0.0.1 - 200 0 0 Hope this might mean something to someone?! Thanks again
  17. Hi all. After following the whmcs / dotnetpanel integration guide I am getting a problem adding a customer and package to dotnetpanel when they sign up via whmcs. I have added the server, product etc in whmcs (to correspond with the dotnetpanel setup i have). When i create a test customer signup and activate the customer's service in the whmcs admin panel, whmcs comes back with a message saying: Module Command Success Service Created Successfully The server shows "1/100 Accounts" etc. The problem is when I log into dotnetpanel directly there is no customer set up in there at all. Any ideas on what I have overlooked? Thanks Gareth
