I have been trading for about 6 years, so a lot of my clients have been with me for quite a while. When I add clients to the system though the 'Client for' information is taken from the 'signup date'. I would like to edit these details, as I will be adding the clients in a single day and the 'client for' details won't accurately reflect how long they've been my clients. Is there a way to amend these details and add the real date they became clients? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply - yes that seems to do the trick! It'd still be good to be able to create different client groups, but this certainly helps fix my query.

I had a bit of a play with the WHMCS demo yesterday and it seems like a nice bit of software. It was easy to install and setting up cron jobs was a doddle, so I'm hoping to buy the full version this week. One feature I would like is the ability to create custom client groups - so you could allow certain client groups to see specific products, but I can't see how to do this or if it's possible. It's a shame as all clients are shown all of your products and services, which could be a bit confusing for them if you offer a large range of different services. Is there a way around this? Thanks.
