  1. I'm considering WHMCS, but one thing I'm unclear on is what the "servers" configuration option does. What does WHMCS do? Create user accounts, home directories, IP addresses, install SSL certs?? I don't want to use cPanel or anything similar - so this is where I think I may run into trouble using WHMCS. I'd very likely manage *nix user accounts in LDAP, and NFS-mount home directories, for example. SSL certs would most likely be managed via some sort of configuration management software (puppet, cfengine, etc). IP addresses, however, would need to be managed somehow. Too much info... So what is WHMCS trying to do when I define a server in the configuration section? How easy is it to customize these actions? I haven't looked into the API yet... Also, I'm not seeing where I can list what domains are assigned to what servers (in the demo). Thanks!
