  1. It seems the link should open /creditcard.php but it is not. It does seem to make a difference if I revert to the default template.
  2. Hi all, I'm not sure why this is occurring, especially since I didn't edit the View Invoice template at all. When a client is logged into their Client Area, they can see their invoice. When they click View Invoice, they can see the complete invoice. When the invoice type is for credit cards, clicking Pay Now leads back to their client area with the View Invoice link. This is a loop and the option to actually pay the invoice does not seem to be accessible. What page is supposed to open when a client clicks Pay Now to pay by CC? Perhaps I have some settings incomplete? fyi, if the payment type is switched on the invoice to Paypal, it works fine and goes to Paypal. thanks, Arp
  3. Hi all, I'm trying to figure out how providing a customer with credit affects things (if at all). Here's my real world example: 1. Client paid initial invoice of $1000 to start project 2. Client sends $750 unexpectedly (no invoice involved) 3. Client wants invoice with total hours worked So can I give the client a credit of $1750, then send a final invoice for the total cost of the project? Or would that muck up my earnings totals by adding a phantom $1750? thanks!
  4. Thanks Steve - that was most helpful! FYI, for anyone else trying it: I had to remove the ssl entry in 'Configuration > General Settings > General,' otherwise there was an error indicating a loop.
  5. Exactly - I haven't 'modded' anything. I just like the portal template. @Matt: If a login page is http, is the login information secure at all? Is there some sort of magic switch to ssl once a login begins? Also, how does WHMCS know which pages should be secure and which shouldn't?
  6. Login pages should have https, and clients can login on every single page. What do you consider unnecessary?
  7. Mine were all https a couple of days ago, but they seem to have switched to https for only the cart. How did you do it? Maybe I messed up the settings - in the config's system url/ssl system url fields I've tried: 1) regular url, ssl url 2) ssl url, empty 3) empty, ssl url 4) ssl url, ssl url I didn't change anything from when everything was ssl urls the other day, so I'm a bit puzzled. Thanks!
  8. Thanks. Shouldn't the url be https then? I guess it's not a big deal as the shopping cart is the place where people really need to see the padlock.
  9. Is it possible to make WHMCS use https all the time instead of just the ordering/cart pages? Client logins should be secure too since their accounts have personal information. Thanks!
  10. MUCH thanks! WHMCS is pretty deep - I've been on that Mail tab a few times and missed that field. I'll get it all eventually ;-)
  11. Where do I set what the admin notification email address is? Is it possible to change it? (I mean the address that gets notified when a new account is created, etc) Also, when I email a client a custom invoice notification, shouldn't that get CC'd to the admin notification email? Is there a copy somewhere? Besides the little message that says it was sent successfully, how do I know that it was actually sent out? Thanks!
  12. Hello all, I'm new to WHMCS I just added a client whose website is already hosted and in WHM. When I add the hosting, will WHMCS recognize that the domain is already there or will there be any issues with trying to add the domain again? thank you! Arp Laszlo
