You can use http://www.(yourdomain).(TLD)/whmcs/cart.php?a=view to view what is currently in your cart.

Yes you can remove these pages from the main WHMCS page. You just need to edit homepage.tpl located in whmcs/templates/(whatever template) and remove those links in Dreamweaver or something.

WHMCS does not sell the resources needed to provide hosting services aka a server and or reseller account. WHMCS is a billing program for hosting companies giving you the ability to bill and manage your clients.
