  1. Thank you for clearing this up, John. If we are supporting customers that only have one employee, the current Support TIcket email algorithm works fairly well. However, for customers with more than one employee, it is always a major issue. It is important to be able to have the tickets sent to everyone in their contact list that is selected to have Support access. I'd like to see a future new feature that would send a support ticket to all account holders and account contacts with support access selected in WHMCS. Thank you in advance for your support!
  2. I'm very new to WHMCS, so I may be confused about the ability of WHMCS to specify distinct email notification addresses for the major areas of operation within a webhosting company. From what I can see, there is very little or no flexibility in this area. Most companies divide up daily company tasks amongst several people. Using our previous billing software, we did this by assigning different email notification addresses to each major block of administration work. For example, a summarized version of each new Trouble Ticket was sent to "tickets@ourhostingcompany.com" and forwarded to our staff's pagers. That allowed them to be away from a terminal and receive instant notification of issues (this was already proposed here: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=1409&highlight=pager+notify). We did the same for new client signup notifications, allowing us to have very fast setup/turnaround times for new clients. Another reason for having a the ability to define a separate email notification address for the major areas of webhosting administration is to be able to sort the messages into particular mail boxes as we recieve them, allowing us to easily keep track of issues and find what we are looking for. Please let me know if there is a way to do what I'm describing with WHMCS. I consider this very basic functionality and hope it is already possible or will be included in a WHMCS update soon. My proposal for an WHMCS update would be that an "email notification settings" area be added to each major fuction within WHMCS so that hosting companies can manage their work and information more efficiently. - amxfsx
