Hi Guys, We currently enforce some validation on our install for when a client sends an rDNS request into our system which is as follows: $validate = "/^([a-zA-Z0-9_-])+(\.[a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)([a-zA-Z0-9_-])+(\.[a-zA-Z0-9_-]+)*\.([a-zA-Z]{2,6})$/"; I believe this forces something1.something2.something3 something1/2 can be anything where as something3 is limited to text and dots only (for the TLD) if I recall correctly. The issue is, despite not being proper formatting, people often want to submit something.tld which our system currently blocks. Can anyone suggest a correct syntex that will allow for: something.tld something.something.tld something.something.something.tld ETC? Thanks!

Does anyone happen to have a copy of these reports they will send/sell me? Ta, Jon

Hi Guys, I'm on the hunt for someone who can develop a WHMCS module that will allow our clients to re-image the O/S on their dedicated server on the fly and without admin intervention. In order to achieve this I would assume the developer will need to be familiar with: 1.) WHMCS Modules 2.) SNMP and or Telnet (to make VLAN changes on our switches) 3.) Windows WDS / RIS (we currently use RIS for Linux reloads with admin intervention via KVM) 4.) Linux kickstart scripts (O/S install and config of static network details build - no DHCP!) If you have knowledge and experience in these areas, can work to deadlines and are fluent in English then please drop a line to jon (at) racksrv (dot) net to discuss. Regards, Jon

Thank you!

Perfect, thanks When approximately do you think this will be released? (Days/months/weeks).

Hi, I am requesting that you incorporate a feature such as this: http://axerite.com/jing/2011-02-13_Date_Example.png Regards, Jon
-
Hi, Nice contribution, thanks! Could I kindly recommend making use of the DATE GUI feature that is used in other areas of WHMCS as this will prevent any problems due to different countries using different date prefixes and its also a little more user friendly? Regards, Jon

Firstly, the last version you sent me did not work *at all*, the update I waited weeks/months on was a fix to this which I kept getting the run around with and hence I lost all faith in your work/ability. Secondly, throughout my dealings with you regarding this (spanning a couple of months) you constantly complained of being to busy to send me fixes that you allegedly had already made yet seemed to have plenty of time to chat on WHT?

Since adding a card merchant a while back we've noticed more and more clients opting to pay by card but as they initially paid via another method (e.g. Paypal) any future invoices are set to Paypal still. Is it at all possible to update (not force) any products including addons to use a specific payment method on a client basis whilst still allowing the client the ability to change the payment method in the future?

Has anyone made an rDNS module for WHMCS which will allow clients to create/update/delete/display rDNS records aggainst their IP's? If no, is anyone with WHMCS development experience interested in being paid to create one?
-
Just by direct? Why should WHMCS extend the few incentives their direct customers who pay more get to those who want to penny pinch and buy via resellers? The old adage 'you can't have you cake and eat it' comes to mind!

Are you sure the invoice is not already overdue as in this instance the subscription button will be hidden (as you don't want a late subscription, do you?)

Indeed, it would be nice if this was fixed

Has anyone got a copy of the files for this mod, I bought version 1.1 before the developer did a runner and noticed that since the 4.3 update it doesn't work so went to check the source files (the readme) only to see I've lost it -

Sounds great Max, I'll be back in touch when our new router is online so we can get the IP Helper stuff working as discussed
