1. Well I still do not know why the admin worked and the client area did not But I uploaded a custom php.ini for the new server(the one present was from the old server) and it is functioning Thank You for your responses
2. How or why is the admin loading correctly? Doesn't the admin also require ion cube? Ion cube is compiled as part of php on the server Looking at php info this is what is presented This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine: Zend Engine v2.6.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2016 Zend Technologies with the ionCube PHP Loader v4.7.5, Copyright (c) 2002-2014, by ionCube Ltd., and with Zend Guard Loader v3.3, Copyright (c) 1998-2014, by Zend Technologies
3. Yes the admin area worked right off after I reissued my license It is only the client area that throws the error
4. I cleared all files except for index.php in that folder and it still gives the error Site error: the file /home/XXXXXX/public_html/secure/login.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.6.so to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the ionCube Loader Wizard to assist with installation.
5. I just moved my WHMCS install to a new server. I can access the admin fine but clients are presented with this error Site error: the file /home/XXXXX/public_html/secure/dologin.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.6.so to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the ionCube Loader Wizard to assist with installation. x's added by me Does the admin not require Ion Cube Loader?? Thank You
6. I ended up moving the new files from the subdomain to a directory under the root domain The upgrade completed Then moved the files back to the subdomain - as this is where the license is pointed Thank You for chiming in
7. Here is what I see Notice: Undefined index: adminid in /home/account/public_html/secure/init.php on line 0 Down for Maintenance (Err 3) We are currently performing maintenance and will be back shortly
8. Yes PHP Version 5.5.30 mysql version 5.5.46 mbstring ioncube etc
9. I also attempted an upgrade by unpacking the full distribution into a folder adding my configuration.php file renaming my current folder to something else renaming the folder containing the full distribution to what the current install was named loading it in the browser I am presented with the same sequence of events It proceeds to step 2 - then there is no way to proceed
10. I attempted to upgrade from v5.3.14 to v6.1.1 I backed up all current files and the DB I uploaded/overwrote the files with v6.1.1 When visiting whmcs-path/install it shows installation/upgrade screen (Step 1), I am then able to proceed to Step 2 which says Upgrade Your Installation We have detected that you are currently running WHMCS Version 5.3.14 This update process will upgrade your installation to 6.1.1 But there is no clickable link nor the script proceeds automatically, it just hangs on that page Step 2 What is the Issue if anyone knows
11. With the conversion to .ca domain registrations is there a patch for those who use ENOM to interface and obtain EPP codes?
12. This remains an issue for us. Any suggestions as to where to look for the issue is appreciated
13. Have had this setup and functioning for some time Recently I am receiving this error message when attempting any server related function, either manually or when a user attempts and upgrade or any other server related item. Module Command Error (Curl Error) couldn't connect to host - code: 7 I have checked the server config, the server key, etc and these are correct and have not changed This is a cPanel server and the ports 2082 and 2087 are open and have been open Is the curl reference for the server being contacted or for the contacting server? Any other items that I might investigate?
14. Title of this sub-forum: IMO WHMCS in their lack of foresight, has choosen not to keep the license that they provided in force so the install where the community could share is now not accessible. I suppose it falls on the fact that WHMCS is a commercial script, as it should be, and this maybe taints their insight, position, and general support of the other side or OpenSource which is what this endeavour was about. I personally apoligize for WHMCS choosing not keep the license in effect, a matter that in final analysis is at no cost to them and had no downside for them either. For any that happen across this and want what is available, please see the first post and I am more than willing to email this to you...Again once You validate that you currently have WHMCS Installed. Best Wishes and Best of Luck to All
15. Post #1 describes how to request the generic KB that will get you started.
