  1. Ok novice coming out again here. Do you mean set it in the configuration.php file as $timeoffset = "+6" or "GMT" or is there another way ?
  2. The ability for the system to come up with suggestions based on relevancy is a good idea. The likes of kayako etc already feature this, and although this would only prove to improve WHMCS I personally would still try and remember what WHMCS really is all about. A billing system with the ability to cater for a knowledge base and tickets. Although not a developer in php etc I would imagine to implement something like this would require work on the ticket and knowledge base side from pretty much ground up. Another way to do this perhaps may be to include a check box or two. 1 which is marked yes and 1 marked no, and this relating to a question which asks if they have checked the knowledgebase making it clear that if they supply a false declaration they would be charged a small flat fee for the support time (when it was already available all the time). Just a thought?
  3. I could but it would be limited as to what I could put in as it would need to be relevant to all packages. Even then it would be impossible to display the message "This would save you £/$ per Month" or something, as each package would be completely different and all run off the 1 template.
  4. Hi all, I have already spoken to Matt about this, but I think 1 useful feature which isnt present at the moment is the ability to localise the time. A simple drop down box showing GMT +/- etc. This is especially useful for those resellers who are not in the same country as the server but want their local timestamps on invoices and tickets. Mainly because the server wants to keep the time of its location....
  5. Yep, didnt click at first that the colour coding etc. But from the admin home screen here is another screenie. See what I mean. To me it appears as open and red (well faint) which would suggest as overdue.
  6. I have done a screen shot. Lucky for me I am just setting up and tuning the system and so can iron out the problems before everything is converted...
  7. Hi Matt, Nopes. The ticket exists in Sales and I am assigned to all departments. I have looked in every category, ie, open, responded, etc etc and the only one that shows up is under closed.
  8. ah ha. Your a star... thank you. Now to get the second one sorted lol.
  9. So how would I safely get rid of this? As the settings for the products are once payment has been received it should create the account automatically...
  10. Ok people, I am new here and realise I may have this posted in the wrong section. However there are a couple of things that are concerning me at the moment with WHMCS. The first is, an order was placed on the system and than paid for using paypal. Now before the payment has been made it was rightly flagged as pending, so far so good. But after the payment has been made and the account created what I get instead is active accounts = xx but the pending matches the number of active accounts. every account although paid for and checked by me and the system is still flagged as pending. I made the mistake of clicking the red X which unfortunately also deleted the users packages from within the client area. This is concern #1 #2 is that a client opened a ticket and the admin overview showed this on the panel on the right. Great I thought, a good way of monitoring tickets and how quickly they are answered. Anyway we play ticket tennis until the client finally realises they are using the wrong details despite what im telling them <g>. Anyway so it is resolved and the ticket is closed. Up until this point everything is as it should be. But once the ticket is closed I go back tot eh home page for the admin area and..... the panel says I still have the ticket open and is now flagged as being severly overdue, hmm. Surely this figure should go down by one or if it was the only one open, should be reset back to 0 shouldnt it? On other news, Matt, how is v3.6 doing? Are we any closer to a production release do you think? I am eager to use those admin roles for some support staff. Regards, Tom.
  11. Hmm, is it possible to alter the code slightly so the client knows that the price your showing them is worked out on a per month basis. And if possible also include another bit which shows the client how much they would be saving per year by choosing that payment term... Im just asking cause I turned this on before and got confused at first thinking the price shown was for the entire period as apposed to being a monthly breakdown.
