This is the one in my modules/gateways folder. Just over a week since I posted my last post on this issue - I contacted the host - by trying to fix up the one problem, they created others, they fixed those up and left me still with my original problem - this all over a period of 1.5 days - I was so anxious for the other errors to be fixed up that I had almost forgotten that I even had the cron job problem. This obviously has been surfacing on a daily basis basis now, the rest of my WHM is working great - I'm loving it - except for the cron job thats not working and my payment gateways are still not working - but they were. This will be my last attempt to try and have this problem sorted, if not I'm going to backup the db and re-install fresh. Cron error message I anyone has got an idea of how I can sort this out without having to approach my host I'd be eternally and most, most greatful. thank you regards melanie

hmm - the possible cookie and session problem did cross my mind. But as I said, I like the idea of keeping hosting and general clients seperate. The products and services which I've added to osc do not include my hosting services. I created custom menus to hosting related pages in osC. The hosting info is not stored in the DB. I had to create a custom order page for hosting services. But now The 'Order Now' or 'Buy Now' links for those pages I've now changed so that they point to WHM. The hosting products and services I am going to add to WHM aswell,(theres only about 70) but will only add the product name and main search term and brief description with a link back to osc for a detailed description. So when a client signs up for a hosting package, he will also see that by registering and signing up, he enjoys the benefit of having discounted pricing for the same products which are available in osC. Anyone else wanting to benefit by those discounted prices would have to signup for a hosting package too. With regards to notification - they are both clearly different and and one could tell by which notification you get, where they have signed up. All hosting clients know to login to their Account Area - General clients wanting to signup would have to purchase at least a hosting package to qualify for any other product in the WHM It will also expose ones products more and I think that although it may be a bit more work - in terms of SEO and Google - I'll still be able to maintain my existing listing on Google.co.za for the appropriate search terms. At the moment I am listed in the first 4 of any of the relevant search terms. That really at the end of the day is my may concern. Regards Melanie

Hi George - some time ago I was having problems and my host seemed to fix these problems up and since they've been fixed up - I have a whole stack of php.ini files all of the place and there is one in the gateways folder - I cant seem to remove that file - and I'm also not sure what would happen if I did remove it. I'l contact my host and try to find out. Thank You for your input. Regards melanie

Hi I', having a small prob - in the admin section under configuration, if i click on the payment gateways link - nothing apears on the page just the heading - page is blank I've tried uploading the file again configgateways.php and it's not working either I had already set a payment gateway and everything was working fine. Any suggestions on what this could be?? Thanks Melanie

Well what I am going to do first is take the login box and user registration and replace my existing code with that so that when new users create an account it goes straight to WHMCS and not to osC but then again I I could aslo keep it as it is, to keep my hosting and non hosting customers seperate. I quite like the idea of my hosting customers having their own unique client area. no it wont be a template thing - I've never tried the STS mods for oscommerce and a full login sharing would be nice, but as I said, keeping non hosting and hosting clients seperate also appeals to me melanie

Hi I have an oscommerce site which has been modified quite a bit already - I'm wondering if anyone has succesfully integrated the WHMCS into osCommerce. I will be trying though as soon as I've got all my accounts, products/services setup and everything is running smoothly. I have some ideas already of what I want to do, I'll probably make use of the scripts which are available first. But if anyone knows whether it has been done before, well that will certainly give me more motivation to try sooner than later. Regards melanie

Will the cron jobbie still run with only this line ? php -q /home/wolfone/public_html/billing/admin/cron.php

I'll take this up with my host and see what they say - thank YOU

Oh I see - ok, now I understand, thank you very much George. - For me at least one more issue sorted.

When I first installed WHMCS, for the first two days I was getting feedback, until today I've got this message. /bin/sh: /usr/bin/GET: Permission denied I'm not sure what this means. In my cpanel shouldonly one entry be added? I have both and I'm wondering if one should be taken out. also I was going through the utilites menu and ran the Domain Resolve Check and there is one domain that points my old host, I then checked on the whois.co.za for the domain and the nameservers listed are correct. I'm not sure what this means. Once again, any suggestions, ideas and advice will be most welcome. Thank You

thank you George - then I should actually be setting the due date back two months. another question I have is - I'm not quite sure how to set up clients that have only registered a domain but have not yet signed up for a hosting package. I may have set this up incorrecty in WHM too coz what I did was created a package Registration only - with no features but the WHM requires at least 1mB to be allocated - in the WHMCS - will it feature as an pending domain??
-
thank you for that Joe, so as I now understand now Registation date = date the domain was registerd eg 05/05/2007 Expiry date = the date the domain will expire eg 05/05/2008 Next due Date = the last date the renewal fees must be paid by 30/04/2008 I've set the renewal notices to go out 2 months before the time, do any of the dates above effect the dates when the renewal notifications go out?

Hi All I'm a WHMCS newbie and this probably seems like a silly question but I'm a bit confused about the expiry date and next due date for domains under the domain tab of the clients profile in WHMCS. Does it mean that the date that is entered as the expiry is the date that the renewal notices will automatically go out ? or the date that the domain will actually expire -- I'm not quite sure, Please can someone advise me. thank You melanie
