yes, mod_security rule is in place. Nothing on the basic cPanel raw access logs for the domain so Im now looking at server logs. 4 accounts were sitting in WHMCS with unverified email addresses (probably because the addresses were totally made up).

I woke this morning to 4 new clients with made up emails and with the words "hack" and "Pirate" all created a few hours ago. I applied the 5.2.8 update on the 4th so there must still be an issue. I've removed my register.php page temporarily as this is the entry point... google whmcs 5.2.8 hack, you'll see a listing on a hacking site explaining how to do it.... they also recommend downloading 5.2.8 to do it Submitted a ticket with an many details as possible and currently in the process of downloading raw access logs.

cart.php?a=add&pid=2 page blank on update own name servers
smithereenz replied to smithereenz's topic in Using WHMCS
PROBLEM SOLVED FIRSTLY - I had the extra code in <?php ?> tags, and it should have been inside the main block of PHP SECONDLY - the instructions here = http://docs.whmcs.com/Further_Security_Steps wrap the code in " where I could only get it to work with ' Support were quick to answer considering the time difference so the G Force world has been saved thanks again -

sorted... dropped the DB, carried out a fresh install, dropped the new DB then imported the old one. I'll try and secure again and see how/when it breaks thanks for your response -

only <?php date_default_timezone_set('Europe/London'); ?> in the config file... I'll drop the DB, do a fresh install and try to import the old DB again a bit at a time and see if I can narrow it down //yes, just updated the signature will sort the edit it again just now -
cart.php?a=add&pid=2 page blank on update own name servers

from - http://www.gforceinternet.co.uk/hosting/cart.php?a=add&pid=1 choose, I will update my own name servers, after you click to continue it returns a blank screen. I thought it was a custom theme I was using so have set it back to a standard theme. Not sure if this is linked... I followed the instructions to secure WHMCS - http://docs.whmcs.com/Further_Security_Steps I have removed this to see if it sorts it but it hasn't helped. Debug reporting is currently enabled as it is a fresh install which isn't going fully live until April and it returns no errors? -

Hi, I have a ticket opened for this but am keen to try and hurry things a little. System works fine until a client tries to update their own name servers and the next screen is returned blank. new domain or transfer domain is fine, it is only blank on update own name servers. It happened once before and i had to re-install... I don't want to go to this effort again -

Support Ticket Not Opened - I'm getting THOUSANDS of emails
smithereenz replied to smithereenz's topic in Using WHMCS
no, I have box trapper set up and have checked the logs and the emails are FROM the support mail we have setup for the client eare... from what i can see it runs at around the time our CRON jobs are set. I've checked everything but can't see anything. I've disabled the bounce email in the mean time. -
Hi guys, We are getting THOUSANDS... and I mean... THOUSANDS of failed messages from our support email address which only use with WHMCS It starts This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. and holds default bounce email message Mail Delivery System , Your email to our support system could not be accepted because it was not recognized as coming from an email address belonging to one of our customers. If you need assistance, please email from the address you registered with us that you use to login to our client area. any ideas what can be causing this. I've disabled this feature in the mean time till I can find a solution many thanks in advance

yes, this allows me to show the domain checker on the main page of my main site, but when the submit button is clicked and the results are shown, it displays domainchecker.php (or equivilant custom page) along with header, footer and menu which forces scroll bars into the wrapper/iframe

Hi again, I've spent the best part of the day on these forums and now have a pretty good idea about the template setup and how it interlinks with the WHMCS installation, but there's nothing (that i could find... and I really HAVE looked) that addresses my scenario. Here's what I'm after: The WHMCS installation to remain as it is, so clients can login and check accounts, pay, upgrade etc etc. But.... I would like to utilise the domain checker and purchase/order facility on my main site. To allow me to do this, I would need a bare page... when I say bare, I mean bare apart from the domain checker, or the order process... no header, no footer, no menus... just the domain checker or order facility. I have made a custom page (using this method) and have the domain checker (more or less) working... its just not showing the domain extensions, but a bit more digging in the code should have this rectified. When I edit the header to remove them from the custom page, it removes them from the entire site... which isn't what I'm after... I'd like the domain checked on the WHMCS installation, AND to be able to utilise it on my site. Just to add... the reason I want a BARE page, is because I am using Jooma for my main hosting/design site and I could integrate it into the site via a wrapper (joomla iframe). I've been at this most of the day, and maybe its something blatantly obvious that's staring me in the face, so a fresh outlook would be very much appreciated. many thanks in advance for what may be a stupid question edited>>> I tried the domain checker integration solution from the knowledge base, but the results are shown on domainchecker.php... which has menu's etc etc and adds scroll bars to the Wrapper/iframe

Some integration questions before we buy
smithereenz replied to smithereenz's question in Pre-Sales Questions
thats good.. I just wanted to make sure I'd have full control over the templates after purchase. For the main, I'd like to use WHMCS, but I'd like to have 'some sections' in my main site to make it easier for the user... just so they don't need to switch back and forward between my site and WHM. thanks for the quick reply -
Hi there, I've spent the last couple of hours reading forum posts here and there and a lot of questions have been answered, but I'd like clerification (if possible) on a couple of things. okay... firstly to explain my situation... I have a Joomla based site as a container for hosting and design services etc etc. I would say I am personally at an advanced level for web design (html, xhtml css etc) and intermediate with PHP. We currently use WHM Autopilot but want to start reselling domains so we need an upgrade. We have WHMCS installed and its great, but theres a couple of things I'd like to have. 1. I'd like the domain checker on the main page or my site (which I can do) but I'd like the results shown without side menu's and header etc 2. I'd like the order form on my main site (if possible), allowing the prospective client to got through (more or less) the entire purchase process. Other than that i'd have a link the the "client area" which would link dorectly to the WHMCS area. I don't want to link logins from Joomla to WHMCS... I'd just like "some" functions od WHMCS to be workable via my main site. I had a look at the files but they are encoded. Is the code released when we buy to allow me to remove the side menu's etc, as I could then possibly create a second domainchecker.php page and remove the manus etc to allow it to be wrapped inside Joomla. I hope this makes sense. many thanks in advance for a reply
