Cool cool. I'll have to poke around in the addon section.

Is there a way to set up promotional products for existing clients only? I thought the client area would have an option but doesn't seem so. Perhaps the client area could be expanded to be an actual clients only area with forum, announcements, etc?

Thanks for responding. I figured it out. I have a master account at Resellerclub, and a reseller account under it. WHMCS doesn't work with a master account, only the reseller. I forgot to change Directi over, then I set it to the wrong account. Thanks for the help.

Hello- Maybe I'm using the wrong keywords on here.... I get this message if I try to manually attempt to renew a domain "You are not allowed to perform this action". Not sure where the problem is since everything is mostly automated... Thanks

Is there a way to add a domain without having to go through the process of ordering a new one or transfering? I just need to add it to a customers account. It's already registered.

Sorry for the delay. Yes, this is all configured. On the order pages, there is a link on the right: "Order Domain Registration Only " When I click it, it doesn't go anywhere. I have a seperate section on the main navigation to go to domain purchasing, but still.
-
When this option is picked from the order.php page it goes nowhere.

Is it possible to create special packages that are only available in the client area for existing customers? I want to offer some special deals that don't list in the regular plan list, but will show up for existing customers in the client area. Possible?

Sorry for all these questions. This system operates totally different from what I have been use to. So If I added 100 dollars to my customer account, then domains would automatically register until the funds were depleted. I wouldn't have to keep transfering funds from reseller to customer account?
-
Okay, so whoiscart registered the customer via my reseller account somehow then. The customer account (for WHMCS) wasn't needed. I could keep my reseller funded, and as customers registered domains, it was deducted from my reseller account fund. Now... for WHMCS it seems I have to add funds to my reseller account.....then transfer them to the customer account?
-
Okay, I have a quick question. With whoiscart, I was able to register domains through my reseller account. In the instructions it says this isn't possible and to set up a customer account. Did that. Now..... If I change my customer pricing in Directi, so it's the same cost as it is for my reseller account, this won't reflect to my customers will it?

Ah, I see. Thanks.

Is it possible to link to a catagory? I have 3 catagories with plans in each. I want to be able to link to the catagory that lists those plans.

Cool. I have a buddy using WHMAP and some scripting for custom packages. They get set up automatically which saves him a lot of time. Would be a cool feature, but no big deal.

If I set it as .25 in the admin, it will show 3 dollars on the orginal order. If you go back, it will list the price at .25 instead of 3 dollars.
-
Thought I'd post this here even though I mentioned it in the other thread. When you choose the option to change plan, domain, etc. Or chose back on the browser and refresh, the calculation for configurable options switches. Meaning, if you set an option for 25 cents in the admin section, it will show up as 3 dollars in the order form. If you change plans, or do the back refresh thing, the order page will show 25 cents in the config option section.
-
Or both.

If you only offer 1 hosting package you can do it like this. Under General Configuration uncheck "Allow clients to use their own domain." Create a GROUP like "free hosting with domain purchase/transfer" Create a Product, for that group - domain registration. Assign it to a server setting (Cpanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin). Pricing is set to Free. When a client chooses this option, they go through the process of puchasing a domain for the "Free" hosting package. The only downside, is that the general configuration is global. For other hosting plans, your clients won't be able to use their existing domains.

I figured it out. If you choose "back" on the browser and then refresh to resubmit the information, for whatever reason it doesn't calculate the annual price until the end of the order. It shows the monthly amount in the drop menu and the total is calculated at the end. Choosing to go back again, fixes it. It also seems to do it if you choose to change plan or domain, or any option where you start over.
-
Maybe I missed something somewhere. I set up a configurable package. When you choose the optional feature, the price is listed as "monthly" from the admin section, but when you check out, it's totalled up for a year. I'm guessing it's because I have the base plan set for annual pricing. Is there a way for the config option to caculate annually from the drop list instead of just on the final page?
-
Once set up, do these settings transfer to WHM or do I have to set the packages up there as well?
-
Okay... I can't figure this out. The page either quits loading or get's all jumbled. What forum has folks that will code?
