  1. Hi everyone, hope you are well. I'm evaluating the product, and I'm trying to test sell a recurring product to a customer, its an annual 365 license, but i dont want it to start on the same date I order it, rather I want it to start in the future, say in a weeks time, but I want it to generate an invoice now but with the details of the license period starting next week (so, sell product, generate sale and email invoice on 15/2/2023, annual billing period is 21/02/2023 to 20/02/2024) . I cant see how to do this, either in the admin console or the client area, and cant find any documentation regarding it. I'm obviously being a bit thick, can you point me in the right direction please?
  2. hi hope you are well. i am looking for a plugin that will automatically add another product to an order dependant on which customer it is. I sell 365, and a lot of customers also have email security, which must be applied to every mailbox, so if they order a new mailbox, they have to also buy the email security for that box. is there a plugin that will automatically add the email security to the email order but only fdor customer with that particular config?
  3. ok thats an interesting idea, i'll look into it.
  4. many thanks. having looked into revolut, they charge 2.8% on business credit AND debit cards. their consumer cards are 1.4% which is ok, but im not sure i can stomach the business charges. the only thing that would make things easier is if i could apply a surcharge of say 1.8% on business cards automatically at checkout after they have chosen their payment method (so it only surcharges if you are a business) - anyone know if this is doable?
  5. Hi Everyone, I hope you are well. I'm interested in anyone's experience of running whcms with xero I run a small smb IT consultancy. I have about 7 licensed products that I sell (backup, 365, security, domains, hosting etc) and i send out reminders for this via a mail merge currently. however, it is getting problematic to manage. whcms seems to do what i want, it will send out reminders automatically at predefined points in time (which actually is all i really need it for - if anyone knows of another system that does this for multiple products, let me know please) . I don't really need it to be a shopfront because I'm not primarily a hosting business. I'm also looking to start using xero for my accounts. I'm also looking at stripe or maybe revolut for payments. I want them all to integrate, particularly have a link on the invoice that can be paid by card. so if someone pays an invoice sent out by whcms using revolut, xero knows about it. I wondered if anyone currently uses these products and if they play nicely together or if there is a more efficient / cheaper way of doing this. The main issue for me is finding the time to send out all the reminder emails and doing them at the correct intervals. .
  6. Thanks for this Hein. Any idea of the name of any of the ready made solutions please?
  7. Hi I hope you are well. I need to be able to show certain customers certain products, so for instance, I sell security but have different pricing structures for residential and business customers that aren't simple percentage discounts. I don't want the business customers to see the residential products / prices. What I envisgae is putting customer into a group , i.e. business or residential, and then that group membership determines which products they can see. Does anyone know if this is possible or if there is a customisation that already does this? i have asked whmcs support already and they said to go ask the forums.... many thanks in advance for your help.
