  1. Ha, I wish he would tell his support team! I just tweeted them to get an official response but I guess that covers it!
  2. The support people seem to have a different opinion on this, from my earlier ticket: It would be nice to get a definitive answer from WHMCS as to whether critical security patches require a current support package. Anyone able to give this???
  3. I completely agree with this and I was in the same position. Support extended my license for a day so I could access the incremental. If it is a critical security flaw then these patches should be provided to ALL license holders, it's not our fault the product is flawed and I'm not interested in new features all I want is a secure system. If the patch requires an up to date support license don't let us download it. The policy seems to change on this every time I talk to support. Lets see if the next security patch breaks it.............
  4. Just received the notification about the secuirty patch only to find it's only available to people with current support. Surely if it's a critical patch it should be made available to all clients??
  5. Hmmm thanks, makes me wonder where I've gone wrong then. The setup looks ok and account creations and suspensions work fine
  6. I've recently installed v4 when switching from modernbill. I have a problem with package upgrades, I've had a couple of clients upgrade their pacakges, they've done this through the client area I then approve the orders and get a message saying it was successful however this isn't reflected in their package in WHMCS or on the server. I have to manually change their package and then click the "Change Package" button. I would expect the whole process after the approval to be automated, is this not the case or have I configured something incorrectly? Thanks
  7. Ahhh that sounds like it would be more workable than my current system then, not perfect but definitely better. I think i'll have to download the demo soon and give it a proper try Thanks
  8. Hi, I'm thinking of switching my billing solution from Modernbill and I am looking for a feature that would make my life 1000x easier. I have a few clients who are local web designers and they regularly sign up for packages with me through the month. Currently I have to mark these packages as paid so they are activated and then bill the designers at the end of the month for all packages that month. So basically I need the ability for certain clients to add packages to their account and then an invoice be generated at the end of each month for all purchases that month. can whmcs do this? Or is it a feature that will be implemented in the future? Thanks Adam
