I wonder if any of us having this issue have Enabled Email Verification: Setup > General Settings > Security tab and tick Request users to confirm their email address on signup or change of email address ? I did this and not a single fake account or order has come in almost 48 hours.

Same here! On the day I noticed, there were about 1 registration per 5 minutes, some with Cancelled Orders and some without. With advise from my hosting company's technical team, I used "Block Visitors by Country Using Firewall" to block all IPs coming from the suspected countries. This slowed it down considerably, but they soon used VPN sites (through other countries) to carry on this nefarious activities. In addition I have also implemented some of the tips on WHMCS John article. For now it has stopped but I guess it is an ongoing battle.

Hello everyone. I run a micro IT management and support services in and around London, England and now venturing into hosting. My little experience shows that WHMCS is a great tool. I know I have a lot to learn but I believe the community is the best place to learn from experienced members.
