Thanks Keith! Good find!

httb, I tried to PM you but the system would not let me.
-
We would like it to create VMs on the fly for clients as well as provide usage data, if possible.
-
We will develop it if no one else has. But it seems likely to me this must have been developed already.

I am looking for the most advanced WHMCS Vmware module possible. Has anyone already built one?
-
Does anyone have of a WHMCS VMware module we can use or purchase? WHMCS does not offer one, but I am guessing that one has been built by a third party.

Hi, I have WHMCS and right now I am using the directi and planetdomain registrars. My problem is that both these companies do not let my clients login individually to manage their domains or change their DNS. I want the customers to be able to go in and change their own domain settings without having to post a support ticket. I also need support for .ca domain names. I think OpenSRS will allow this. Am I correct? I know that OpenSRS has a control panel that lets customers manage their open domain names: https://manage.opensrs.net/ Does their system integrate with WHMCS?

Solved! the problem was the path to the integrate.php file look here: ################################################ # BRIEF INTEGRATION INSTRUCTIONS # # ============================================= # # Copyright © 2001-2008 Kayako Infotech Ltd. # ################################################ ========================================= WHMCS INTEGRATION HOW TO ========================================= 1) Open integrate/whmcs/modules/support/kayako/integrate.php and change the following line to full absolute path to your Product Installation (SupportSuite/eSupport) define("SWIFTPATH", "/home/path/to/support/"); Examples: define("SWIFTPATH", "/home/company/public_html/support/"); 2) Copy modules directory of package to root directory of your WHMCS Installation 3) Copy the templates directory of package to root directory of your WHMCS Installation 4) In WHMCS admin, navigate to General Configuration > Support and choose Kayako in the Support Module dropdown. 5) Thats it! Your WHMCS Client Area is now replaced with the SupportSuite/eSupport Frontend

we fixed the cache permission errors, but the "submit ticket " menu item is still coming up blank!
-
no, what should they be?

We have moved to a new server (same domain name, different IP) Now, clients can login, but can't post support tickets here: http://www.solarenergyhost.com/clients/submitticket.php They just go to a blank screen, the same for the knowledge base and Downloads menu items (WHMCS is installed in the /clients folder and the site is in the public_html file): If this helps , we are getting this error message when we login into the Kayako admin area (though we can still login): Warning: fopen(./cache/ddbecb06cf67d21bacb4f7111d717aee.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/solareadmin/public_html/support/includes/SmartyLight/class.template.php on line 325 Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/solareadmin/public_html/support/includes/SmartyLight/class.template.php on line 326 Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/solareadmin/public_html/support/includes/SmartyLight/class.template.php on line 327 So Kayako/Espport is working... We are desparately in need of help. Will pay. Please contact me through PM ASAP

Hi. We are running the latest version on WHMCS 3.4.1 (and we have tried every version since 3.3) and we are having this issue: If the setting "Select to automatically redirect the user to the invoice" form the admin general configuration area is selected, instead of being sent to the invoice, the customer is sent to the client login page, this is happening even though the url is something like: (domainname)/clients/viewinvoice.php?id=87 Has this been happening to anyone else? We have tried many things, such as reinstalling WHMCS, using multiple versions, and changing server session times.

Please help me understand how .ca registration works
floatingworld replied to floatingworld's topic in Using WHMCS
Thanks for this. Out of curiousity what is involved registering .ca names through enom? About manual confirmation of registrants domains.. Thant can be set up in WHMCS, correct? In other words. They can pay for an account with temporary URL while they wait for their .ca name to be registered, correct? How do I enable this? -

Thanks you for your response! I have another question. How did you integrate Enom into WHMCs so it could still properly process the account, even though approval was waiting for the domain name? -
Please help me understand how .ca registration works
floatingworld replied to floatingworld's topic in Using WHMCS
I am envisioning hearing from someone who is offering .ca domain names with WHMCS. Can WHMCS function properly if the user has to wait 2 days for confirmation? It seems to be breaking sign up process. Is there another WHMCS friendly registrar that does not require the 2 days wait? If there actually is two days of manual processing imposed by CIRA, how can I make this work with WHMCS? -
I am confused as to how we can set up WHMCS to allow customers to register accounts with .ca domain names. PlanetDomain is telling me that new customers signing up for a .ca domain name will need to wait 2 days to get authorized by CIRA. This seems to break the sign up process, as they can't register the name.. Is there any way to have WHMCS register .ca names in an easier way? Has anyone found a work around?
