  1. Thanks trine! That maybe wasn't it, but does the same thing! Cheers!
  2. Hi, a while back I had a URL for a site that would check to see if the server was setup correctly or if there were security issues, now I can't find it. Anyone know what I'm talking about and have a link? Thanks!
  3. Thanks Adam, I understand about that now, and then php mail works, but still no smtp, I placed a support ticket, I need to get it resolved. Thanks for the answer and explaination.
  4. Okay, so I found the issue, but not a solution. In WHM, under tweak, there was this: Prevent the user "nobody" from sending out mail to remote addresses (PHP and CGI scripts generally run as nobody if you are not using PHPSuexec and Suexec respectively.) When unticked it works. But in WHMCS I have the emails set to a valid address, why would I get this? And is there something in WHM to change, or is it an issue with WHMCS?
  5. Ow, another stupid email question, but this driving me nuts. No emails are being sent, whether it's one I do manually thru the admin cp or whenever. Happens for both php and smtp. With smtp I get "An error has occured", with php I get a success message, but no email. Errors: unrouteable mail domain "gmail.com", and that goes for any domain I send to. The server looks okay, and mail works outside of WHMCS. Any ideas, really this is a problem, and I know it's most likely something I've done wrong. Thanks, Lena
  6. That's reassuring to clients who register isn't it?
  7. Thanks for the help joe123, now I have this error: Unable to register name 720 Our system is experiencing technical difficulties, please try again later. If problem persists, please contact support and state error message: REM server: -702, the Registries for the following tld(s) cannot be accessed at this time:com, net The question is: Does anyone have ANY success with Registerfly? They seem so incompetent?!
  8. Okay, maybe I get it now. I see in the cp there is a place for a "domain profile" with fields for that. Didn't work in Firefox, so I didn't so it earlier, just changed it in IE, so maybe now it will work. Thanks, I'll try it!
  9. You mean just there in the Registerfly control panel? Or elsewhere also? They are listed in the cp at Registerfly. Thanks for the help so far by the way!
  10. So I updated at Registerfly to the default nameservers, but still no go. Will it take the same time to resolve as a domain name, the error is the same, no such nameserver at the registry.
  11. Okay, I see it now, a different place to place default nameservers, they were set to registerfly, I'll wait and see if it helps. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
  12. Well, there's a place for the IPs, should that be the IP addresses or the nameserver? If I change it to the nameserver then I get an error about the ip can't be used. It can't be this difficult, can it?
  13. Okay, but it gives me that before I can try and register it, seems odd.
  14. So, this is giving me trouble. I am testing, and register a new hosting account and domain. The hosting is setup. I But the domain I see under the client name in the admin area. I choose, say Registerfly, enter my nameservers and click save, then I get the error: Domain does not belong to this account What am I doing wrong, it seems simple enough. But I am missing something! Help!
  15. Hi, trying to get this domain registration sorted out. When I try and register with Registerfly I get this: Unable to register name 435 Request failed validation: Name server 'my ns' is not found at the registry. Please double check the nameserver and re-submit.Name server 'my ns' is not found at the registry. Please double check the nameserver and re-submit. I have logged a ticket at Registerfly, but the support is no tgood. Anyone else get this? And what to do? The nameservers are correct all the way around, so I haven't a clue.
