I followed the following steps to get it fixed 1) Created a new database and restored the old database ( before the upgrade). 2) Edited the configuration.php file and replaced the database login details with the new ones 3) Uploaded the fresh new whmcs 7.5 files into the whmcs directory 4) Started the installation and it got completed this time.

update : the install folder is missing now and the website is not loading I am getting the following error Down for Maintenance (Err 2) An upgrade is currently in progress... Please come back soon... When I tried to upload the fresh zip file of whmcs 7.5 and started the update manually it's saying that the system is already updated.

Hello, I tried to update whmcs via auto updater and it got stuck at rotating hourglass for more than 15 minutes. Then I visited /install path and tried to manually upgrade but still it's getting stuck at the /install/install.php?step=2 and then after 5, 6 minutes the page is headed to /install/install.php?step=upgrade and nothing is displayed.
