  1. I'm about to do this, but are there any tricks or tips to get products ordered to setup a hosting account in DirectAdmin correctly the first time? I did not understand some of the fields in the whmcs setups...
  2. 5.1.2 asks for the domain on the home page, but the wording is terible so its not really clear what's going on... how can i edit the wording: 1) change title from "Portal Home" to something that actually makes sense likes "Order Web Hosting" 2) change Choose a Domain... Start your web hosting experience with us by entering the domain name you want to register, transfer or simply purchase hosting for below... to simply: Enter your domain name: 3) remove "Order New Services" because less than 1 inch above it, it already says "order hosting only" why do i need two order buttons within less than 2 inches of space? 4) remove manage account button (i dont want people getting confused, and trust me, people get confused easily) 5) change or remove "eg. your domain..." because this is not the English used by most of the world and makes NO SENSE AT ALL change to "type your domain here" 6) change the text on the button from "Order Hosting Only" to "ORDER" I mean does someone thing that if the button didn't say order hosting only that they would be ordering pizzza? 7) remove a lot of stuff from the menu which files and what directory path are the templates so I can edit this stuff?
  3. 1) I would like to disable support, affiliates, knowledgebase, (everything except orders and billing related)... 2) I also would like to change the button on the home pages that says "order hosting only" it's a little confusing because we don't offer anything else but hosting so to say order hosting "only" is redundant and causes people to wonder what they missed somewhere else... 3) we only offer 1 hosting product with different payment terms (1 year 2 year etc...) so is there a way to just make a simple one page order form in wordpress and have it send the data to whmcs to autosetup the account? i feel that all the steps are un-needed and 1 page, simplier order form would be better...
  4. I had a customer sign up today with paypal invoices, but no invoice or payment was made... seems like a recurring problem for me... anyone know how to solve this?

  6. an "order confirmation" email went out to customer #2 that included this comment: "...You will receive an email from us shortly once your account has been setup. Please quote your order reference number if you wish to contact us about this order...." however, no invoice was ever sent or created by the system...
  7. I just entered my first two recuring products for new customers. They are due Jan 1, then each 1st of the month thereafter, but I want the invoices sent today (immediately). The problem is that the first product I added created an invoice, but the 2nd one didn't. I can't see how to get the invoice sent to the 2nd customer. Also I need to know how to change the date that the automated invoices are sent out each month, should be 15 days ahead. And I need to know how to get the invoice sent for order thats already been placed for customer #2. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
  8. I know the directory location, but my concern is knowing all the codes to get full functionality in my new custom template... where is a list of the available php functions?
  9. my domain name registration is $11/year billed yearly at once... but when you go to order the product it says that its 92cents instead of the $11/year price... this may confuse customers as to the real price... so how can I set up my domain registration product to reflect the correct price being $11/year?

  14. is this the only way to do it? no menu to edit it? the code says "if" so it looks like there might be a switch somewhere in the admin panel for to disable these two... anyone know where they are?

  16. Card Type Card Number Expiry Date / (MM/YY) CVV/CVC2 Number Where do I find this? Issue Number Start Date / (MM/YY) -------------------------------------------------- my customers are not able to complete authorize.net payments because neither I nor they know what the last two required fields are? what are they? I'm talking about "Issue Number" and "Start Date"... can I just get rid of them?
  17. ssl for what? I have two serverwide ssl certs, but authorize.net has their own secure certificates. I have it setup just as the documentation outlines. What could have missed? There are only a few things to fill out for authorize.net setup.
  18. Im getting these errors in the gateway log: Response Code => 3 Response Subcode => 2 Response Reason Code => 33 Response Reason Text => Credit card number is required. AVS Result Code => P Response Code => 3 Response Subcode => 4 Response Reason Code => 30 Response Reason Text => The configuration with processor is invalid. Call Merchant Service Provider. Approval Code => 000000 AVS Result Code => P any idea what they mean?
  19. hmmm I wonder why my authorize.net isnt working? I've got some pending authorize.net orders but how do I process them to make them complete and get the money in my bank? My authorize.net information is already set up in the payment gateways area of the whmcs config. Any ideas?
  20. setting up the software... where do I enter the key for credit cards? where do create the key?
  21. ok, I thought the customer might get that page when logged out... I'm new to this software
  22. I know how to edit the tpl template files for the main part of the script... but how do you change the look/feel <TITLE> for the admin area of whmcs? For example I want to change the title displayed in this page and all other admin pages to one of my choice: .../admin/login.php
