  1. Also tried this syntax logModuleCall($domainbox,$RegisterDomain,$RegisterDomainResult,$registrant,$AuthenticationParameters); Nothing new appearing in Utilities -> Logs -> Modules log
  2. Very good I see so logActivity function puts a message after every run in menu Utilities -> Logs -> Activity Log. As you seem to know about logs the modules / registrars / domainbox.php is giving errors it came from the Registrar. I'm trying this to debug it ; logModuleCall("domainbox","RegisterDomain","RegisterDomainResult","error"); Trying to get a verbose output to Utilities -> Logs -> Modules log
  3. Brilliant thanks for the answer. Understood now about the naming convention for hooks. I have all the php for the module in the same file as the hook command (last line). add_hook("DailyCronJob",1,"end_free_trials_hook"); So if I understand you correctly I can add logActivity("end_free_trials_hook"); If so where am I looking for this log, not utilities > Logs > modules Although I do have another module that is not functioning that I need help with adding logModuleCall syntax.
  4. We have WHMCS version 6 and are trialing a custom hooks to run the some reminder emails on free trial accounts. Bit unsure if the documentation is saying the file in the folder /includes/hooks/ must be called hooks.php http://docs.whmcs.com/Addon_Module_Developer_Docs Can you please confirm this is the case the filename has to be hooks.php ? Also is there an easy way to check that it has been run after the scheduled "DailyCronJob" thanks.
  5. Hi Bollocks ;-) We recently updated to v6.02 and getting some smarty errors too although most functionality is ok other than checkout, which is pretty key when you think about it. It does beg the question for us punters of WHMCS do we upgrade in a Dev environment first. We backed up the whole WHMCS folder on the webserver so roll back is possible did you do this ? Anyway as to who pays for fixing your errors its a good question. The support tickets I logged yesterday other than auto replies I am still waiting, so does this make us pay the $30 priority fee ??? Hope you find a solution I will keep my eye out for you
  6. Hello we have recently upgraded to v 6.02 and have been doing some user testing. The interface looks much better and is responsive so good job there WHMCS ! We have found an important functionality missing in our environment with version 6 and we are wondering if anyone else has this as we logged with support and no response has come back from WHMCS. If we place a product in the cart from and then go to the Clientportal to checkout its using cart.php page. The "Already Registered. Click here to login" when we put valid email and password returns "The following errors occurred:Login Details Incorrect. Please try again. " Yet the same accounts can login using the clientarea.php which you get to using Account > Login in top right. We would really would like not to have to login clientarea.php then go to cart and checkout, this seems the long way round. Has anyone else got this issue is it something common to v 6 or our database an issue ? By the way other than the logo branding this is the "Six" template with no customisation so as it comes from WHMCS. Please help thanks Matt
