Hi John, ok, I understand. Is it possible to turn off renewal confirmation mails alltogether then? Maybe by simply deleting the mail template or some more intelligent way? Or better yet, exempt certain customers from receiving these mails? We've got customers with quite a few domains, that mostly got registered or moved to us on the same day. And we received a shitstorm on one of those days recently for sending out so many mails. Bad for business... Cheers, Michael

Hi John, that's unfortunate, as that email is mainly used for provisioning and thus used as a login in hosting panels. So it is mostly some admin adress or is many cases that of the boss, but never of bookkeeping. Are there any plans to chnage this behaviour? Thanks Michael

Hi all, we have some customers who don't want to receive specific or any mails to the main email adress (the one entered under "Profile"). I though I simply add another contact, enable those mails in question for the contact and then simply change the Billing Contact to that contact. But the contact is only used as cc: with the Profile's email adress still being used as main recipient. Am I doing it wrong? Or how can I prevent mails from being sent out to the Profile's email adress? Thanks Michael

Hi all, is there a way to group mail renewal confirmations the same way it is done with the grouped domain renewal reminder? It's nice that customers get only one reminder, but not so nice if they get umpteen confirmation mails.

I might have to ask a programmer to do this for me anyway, so he would know how to get the number from a string. Ah, great, so $item['rawamount'] is exactly what I was looking for. The information under http://docs.whmcs.com/PDF_Invoice_Customisation is very meager, to say the least. And I have scoured the forum for hours, but have found no mention of this. Unfortunately we can't do that declaration bit, you know Germans, everything has to be following the rules very strictly ;-) Do you mean the invoicepdf.tpl? I would love to do that, but as I found out here http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?22916-V4-Invoice-Template-Calculations-Stopped-Working&highlight=calculate+invoice I can't simply caclulate with the value, since $invoiceitems[amount] delivers a string. Any ideas around that? The other way around, i.e. using prices excluding VAT and then calculate the gross price for output on the web, would be good too, but I haven't yet found how to do that either :-(

C'mon guys, surely there must be someone here who is using prices including tax but lists net prices on the invoice. Or are you using exlusive prices and show gross prices on the web? Could anyone tell me how they are doing it?

I've been studying posts and documentation for hours now and know as much as before :-( So here's what I found/think: Tax rules in WHMC seem to be either inclusive or exclusive and I have found no way around that. German law requires prices on websites to be given including tax (not a new thing, always has been this way) German law requires prices in invoices to be shown excluding tax for each service/product and then add VAT. (see above) WHMCS can't do that, or can it? Any Germans here, who could shed some light on this? No other country in the world has this kind of requirement?

We are from Germany and it is mandatory for us to show all prices including tax on websites. On invoices we have to list all prices excluding tax though and then add VAT and display the Total. So far, so good and very common I guess. But how do I do that in WHMCS? I have set all prices to be inclusive tax, otherwise they would displayed wrong in the client area. But now WHMCS only displays gross prices and using $item.amount in the invoice does the same. Is there a way to make WHMCS display net prices, especially in the invoice? Or am I simply overlooking something? How are others handling this? Thanks

Thanks Brian for taking the time to answer. My problem is not with the text itself (i.e with the translation) but with the function. The "Automatic VAT Tax Rules Setup" is the last setting in the addon's settings and should be adpated to the local VAT (in our case 19%). But the VAT rate is pre-filled with 20% and I can't change it, it always reverts back to 20% when trying to save the changes.

I have downloaded the EU VAT Addon but I am not able to modify the fields VAT Label & VAT Rate. They always revert back to "VAT" and "20%" Can anybody help?

I did search the forum, but came up empty. But before making an official request in the marketplace I wanted to ask in general, as someone might have a solution at hand (thats what forums are for). Is it possible to place a custom field somewhere else on the order form instead of below everything else? I#d like to integrate salutation as a mandatory fields, but naturaly it should be place next to the name in the form. If thats not possible out-of-the-box, who could program this for us?

Just a quick question: Is a due invoice automatically overdue? I.e. when a client orders a product and the invoice is generated, it is due that same day. But WHMS also lists it as overdue?!? Is that intended behaviour or did I just overlook where to set the period between due date and an invoice being considered as overdue? Changing the overdue reminder period under Automation doesn't change this. Thanks
