Can you share the code you use to check if a subdomain is free?

I want to customize the way WHCS checks .nl extenstion because of the SIDN limit. I found a reseller who offers a check up trough an api with authorization. Does anyone now how can do this. The only thing I found is the file whoisservers.php but you can only change the server trough that. Any suggestions?

When my cron runs I get the following message: Admin Email Notification Sending Failed - info@stuventure.nl, j.m.niebuur@stuventure.nl (Subject: WHMCS Cron Job Activity) The strange thing is that I can send messages from to clients from support department without errors. What do I wrong?

Who had upgraded to Plesk 9 without any problems? I am now running 8.6 but I want to upgrade. I know that I can't make use of new futures because of the new api. But do the things keep working that work now with Plesk 8.6?
