Yes I created a database called, "test." Yes, I created a database username and password. Yes, I assigned all permissions for the user with that specific database. All of the above was done in MySQL. I don't have a control panel yet. Is a control panel required?

I'm trying to install the 15 day demo version. Unfortunately, I get stuck at this point. Database Connection Details You must now create a MySQL database in your control panel and assign a user to it. Once this is complete, enter the connection details below. Database Host 127.0.0.1 Database Name test Database Username bla Database Password bla then get this... Could not connect to the database - check the database connection details you entered and go back and correct them if necessary. I created the database "test" in MySQL. What am I missing? Thanks
