I just received an email from WHMCS, thought i would post it here as well because as posted earlier in this topic it seems the emails are being queued and sent. So anyone who has not received it yet can see.

It wasn't really a hack, the intruders social engineered their way in. Gaining the log in information from WHMCS's host and not exploiting any type of vulnerability within the WHMCS software.

Your right i stand corrected, i looked up the IP of the forum which differs from the main site. Kinda shocked to be honest, i would presume that they would be with a more creditable host.

I don't believe WHMCS is hosted with HostGator, i think someone has mis read something in the recent replies. One of the Hackers websites was hosted with HostGator not WHMCS.

I would assume you are listed as well, i just checked and found myself listed too. All information including all your address/location, name,, ip addressed, to server and license information such as licenses and location/director and ip of the licenses.

Seems they are still hosted with HostGator even though hiding behind CloudFlare, though im sure Matt and the team is handling everything with the best of their abilities but even though it's wont delete them from having the content sending HostGaters Abuse department a notice might be able to get the current links removed.

Yeah seems Cloudflare have disabled access to their other site as well.

I agree, they didn't show papajohns actually hacked it was just offline. Probably just a DDoS attack to just deny access to it which i don't really count as hacking based on the number of attacks that my network received on a daily basis.

I was looking at the Twitter Tweets and accounts used by them saying WHMCS and all the other sites got hacked / ddos'ed and their twitter accounts seem to lead to a website btu upon viewing the website you get a Cloudflare error.

Seems Cloudflare has shut the hacker sites offline, well disabled access to it.

Yes it seems everyone is still getting the SSL error as again i tried on multiple PCs

Im having problems logging into my WHMCS Client area, i keep getting the following error. My Software is still having license issues but im not able to log in so i can't open a support ticket nor try and refresh my license. I tried connection from my Computer as well as a friends in a different country and still got the error.
