  1. Thanks I've just had a look. The only problem I have with most of these is the monthly charge. I'd rather pay a one off fee up front. It's why I moved away from plesk, and iAd used their panel since almost day one. This is a new start for me and it isn't my main source of income so I'm in no rush and would rather build slowly. I'm still trying to sort out what software to go for hence the questions
  2. Hi, thanks Roger I have found a thread regarding that. The only downside is its fairly expensive for a new startup like me, however if I use quickbooks now and do things manually I guess I can then add the module at a later date I guess. Im trying to keep my monthly costs as low as possible
  3. To answer my own question I found this thread with some tips: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=38534 Anyone else have any thoughts?
  4. I wondered what accounts package you guys can recommend to run with WHMCS? Im thinking of being able to invoice for other services such as web design or computer repair. I havent bought WHMCS yet im just trying to get my head around automating everything I do before I take the plunge. Up to now I have few clients and just do evrything manually even the accounts. Does any accounting package work directly with WHMCS. TIA
  5. Im still trying to work out what my costs will be before I go ahead and buy a licence. As part of this I am trying to work out which domain reseller option to go for from the list of companies that will work via API. Im UK based so .co.uk will probably be the most common although Im not expecting to sell many in the early days anyhow. What are the cheapest options, are there any companies that dont charge a fee other than when a name is purchased? ResellerClub looks like it might fit the bill but I would be very grateful for your views and suggestions. TIA
  6. So just to clarify, I could create a product that creates a subdomain on my plesk box, for one user (using a name of their choice) and then that user would have access to the plesk admin panel for that sub-domain and they could create their own email address? Thanks Edit I just looked at my plesk panel and I dont think I have got this right have I?
  7. Hi I'm very interested in your product and would like to know if it will be able to do what I want. I would like to offer a product that gives a customer an email address and a small amount of webspace using one of my existing domain names. I have a server running vitualmin at the moment and another that runs plesk 8 both on Linux. So a customer gets for example customer@mydomain.com or preferably customer@customer choice.mydomain.com and webspace http://www.customerchoice.mywebspace.com. I'm not really a programmer although fairly experienced as a small host.
