  1. @jcn50 @agarzon Received this reply from WHMCS support and it worked for me. During the update to WHMCS 8 a number of files are deleted from the installation. However, if these fail due to permission issues certain files left over could cause issues. This particular issue you experienced appears to be caused by the following file not being able to be deleted: /vendor/symfony/translation/TranslatorInterface.php Therefore if you experience the issue after upgrade removing that file should solve the problem.
  2. Thank you so much @jcn50 for the help! I'll give this a try tonight and see if it works. I also have a support ticket in with WHMCS but not sure how helpful that will be.
  3. I am experiencing the same issue, did you get it work? @jcn50
  4. I experience the same as you dylanhansch. I tested it in "includes/hooks/example.php" and the code worked as expected. However, it does not work when inside my hooks.php for provisioning module. <?php if (!defined("WHMCS")) die("This file cannot be accessed directly"); add_hook('ClientAreaPrimarySidebar', 1, function($primarySidebar) { //$primarySidebar->getChild("Service Details Overview")->getChild("Information")->setLabel("Hello"); $primarySidebar->getChild("Service Details Overview")->addChild('World', array('uri' => '#', 'order' => 15)); }); Submitted a support ticket with WHMCS.
  5. Fresh install of 7.2.2 and none of my hooks on my server provisioning module are working.
  6. I just tried this in 5.2.3 - THIS IS NOT FIXED!
  7. This is still not working in 5.2.2 - has it been fixed in 5.2.3 do we know?
  8. I can confirm that my cron is not displaying properly as well. Everything is squished together as it appears there is no formatting now. This is 5.2.2
  9. Ya, I know. Good thing we don't get much support inquires. This topic has been address to much length though over the last year or two. No one can figure out the logic, it doesn't make sense. Hopefully they change it at some point...
  10. For some insane reason, their ticket system queues tickets by last response. So if you update your ticket, to the end of the line you go. (Unless this has changed in the last month) I am in a similar situation. I wait days for them to just respond asking me for login details; does it really takes days to ask that?
  11. Matt: All you need to do to reproduce the issue is to login as admin and then let the home page sit for 10-15+ minutes and then click on a nav link again and it will kick you out.
  12. I currently have some smarty template code that shows/hides a form field on the order form depending on what product/service a customer has in their cart. In prior versions I could mark the custom field as show on order form and required and it wouldn't get validated as being required if it wasn't displayed on the form. Since 5.2.2, the field now gets validated when it's not even on the form but it's marked as required in the admin backend. Does anyone else have this issue and is this a bug or has the validation been changed?
  13. It does it with all the latest versions of FF, IE, Chrome, Safari. No matter if I'm on my desktop, laptop, iPhone, Android, tablet - none of it works.
  14. Anyone else having an issue with the "Remember me until I logout." option not working in version 5.2.2? This has worked in all previous versions but now I always get logged out from the admin panel.
  15. Nope, I have not heard a response from WHMCS since Aug 9th, 2012. This was the message I received: I then proceeded to tell them that the old version of the file fixed the problem and that the functionality has completely changed between 5.0.3 and 5.1.2 and that they may want to start looking there. I have really just given up on WHMCS support, after a month you stop being extremely angry and it turns in to disappointment. Actively searching for another software solution...
