I put in a ticket and it looks like First Data is supported via the linkpoint module: http://docs.whmcs.com/LinkPoint -
Switching from 2checkout and PP to a merchant gateway
Data 1 replied to Data 1's topic in General Discussion
But even if I do is the linkpoint module going to work with First Data since first data was linkpoint? -
Signing up today for the ability to take cards directly, my bank uses First Data eCommerse/ first data global gateway. WHMCS has a linkpoint module which I see on the FD site that YourPay and Linkpoint sort of became First Data. Has anyone here used first data, does the linkpoint module work with first data, what mountains have you had to climb, just looking for advise on where the pot holes in the road are. And I'm still on 5.0.3, probably should upgrade before I integrate? Thanks

2checkout does more things in the background if you haven't dealt with them before. They "hold" an amount of the money per transaction in a "reserve" they call it, and release it after 30 days. This can get complicated in recurring payments, there would be some real complicated math to tell exactly what is being deposited and when. It seems to take about 2 days for them to deposit the money in your bank also. I have been with Paypal for over 10 years, working with 2co for 2 years and are moving to a merchant gateway.. today actually I'm signing up. The 3rd party worked for me for a startup, but I feel accepting cards directly is more professional and causes less confusion with customers. I started 2checkout because an array of new customers I inherited simply hated paypal and did not want to deal with them, even though my paypal account doesn't require them to have a paypal account to pay with card (another $19 a month). Most of them I chatted with would have preferred to enter credit cards directly or call me with a card number. So I am where you are thinking of going, and I'm going where you currently are LOL.

Hi, Been having tremendous luck with my WHMCS system, making a lot more money because of it. Well, losing less that is Anyhow one of my servers will not show status. When accessed directly shows a blank white page. I actually have 2 not working but one of them doesn't have ion cube so I'm assuming that's it. The file is encrypted so I can't turn error reporting on in the file. Any tips for troubleshooting this? I can't turn on error reporting globally to test, would get too many e-mails.

Is anyone selling SSL certs via Enom, and is there an automated way? Been reading, sorry if I missed it.

Looking for a way to fire off a shell script (or PHP script) upon completion of an alternate product purchase, just a fake example like a gallery. Person buys the gallery, upon payment notification it installs it on his site. "The installs it" I can do a script for, just wondering if there is a way to fire off the script and feed it with any variables (username, site name.....).

Thank you Rick, that got rid of it. Jim

Hi, Upgraded from 4.41 to 4.4.2 and everything works fine. One little thing, in the left column on the admin summary page under the version line (which does say 4.4.2 now) there is a red: An update is available! Really odd and just an annoyance. Anyone else have this?

Exsiting Paypal Subscriptions, Will they work?
Data 1 replied to gordonrp's question in Pre-Sales Questions
I have to add, as gordonrp found out this does indeed work. The trick is as he stated is the IPN link you specify at paypal, it HAS TO include the full URL to the actual callback script (/modules/gateways/callback/paypal.php). This will save me hours of time every month which I did have since WHMCS had already saved me tons of time. Thanks- -
In the clients products/services tab it says registration date, but it doesn't show in the "created" column of the View/search clients page. Still shows 00/00/0000 The registration date feeds from the regdate field in the tblhosting table and the created date feeds from the datecreated field in the tblclients table. It's a real small thing and I can script it in there but wondering if there is a place to do it in the gui. Does the datecreated field feed anything else except that column?

Import from WHM sets sign up date to 00/00/00 regardless of settings I have found. The date is there in the import list it just doesn't import it. I can't find a place to set it manually in the interface. Is there a place I haven't seen yet to set this in the GUI?

Close enough for me, I just signed up after only 2 days of the trial. This is going to save me an immeasurable amount of time and headache. Thanks again Rick- Jim

OK Thank you. I take it that tick box wasn't there until I created the department.

Hi, After some setup, I ordered a hosting account for a mock client from "order" in the portal. It created a cpanel account on the server specified, sent me an e-mail, created a client account in WHMCS. Groovy, it is incredibly flexible so far. Then I logged on as that customer (through the client login on the portal) and submitted a support ticket to my newly created support department. Then I log in as full administrator again, and attempt to resolve my issue It said access denied, that I wasn't assigned to any ticket departments. I checked roles, and full administrator does indeed have the ability to answer tickets. What simple thing have I overlooked that I will feel like an idiot for asking about?

Make sure first you "really want" anyone to know your exact configuration. I know they could purchase an account and put up their own phpinfo file, but that makes it easier to track I took the column out in the template myself.

Thank you. Didn't see the tabs inside general settings..... sorry.

Is there somewhere you can add captcha to the pre-sales contact us?

Thank you Keith, I'll look closer but ll the prices I saw were within a few dollars of each other? I'm looking for seamless integration with the WHMCS system and the ability for the customer to change nameserver settings through the WHMC interface.

Hi, been hanging out for a while, so far WHMCS is winning I have about 140 client domain names with Godaddy, and it looks like if I do WHMCS they will have to be somewhere else. Does anyone have experience with this, transfering multiple domains from Godaddy to Enom (which seems to be the thing to do from me reading here)? So I'm gathering.... Cpanel servers, WHMCS, Enom is the hottest setup? I already have 7 cpanel servers.
