  1. No problems with Distribute IT as a Domain Registrar at all, and they're great to deal with.
  2. I've sent my friend the link. Thanks for the info!
  3. That looks very promising, thanks James. Kind regards, Mark
  4. I use WHMCS for domains and hosting and am really pleased with it. A friend is trying to sell photos (large files) from his website. Your portal and the Paypal IPN combination look like being a close fit to what he needs. Can WHMCS accommodate this kind of business? Kind regards, Mark
  5. As suggested, I re-issued the licence and it worked like a charm. Thank you, Mark
  6. Thank you both for your help with this. It's greatly appreciated! Kind regards, Mark
  7. My installation was done for me and while I'm still very happy with that decision, the install went into a 'WHMCS' directory on my 'secure' subdomain. The result is that 'WHMCS' appears in the URL. Before I plunge in and start moving files or setting up symbolic links, I'd like to see if anyone had any advice. The phrase: "If it ain't broken, fix it until it is" is never far from my thoughts, as is "Stupid questions are better than stupid mistakes". I'll lay off the cliches for now and get back to work... Kind regards, Mark
  8. I've had the same problem and have noticed it dotted about these posts with no signs of resolution. My hosting provider (Web Hosts Australia - who I'd have no hesitation in recommending) was quick to white-list NR but the latter wasn't able to provide much assistance. Rather than start shuffling Domains about, I've applied to become a Planetdomain reseller, being up-front about my Netregistry connection. I haven't seen any problems listed here about the Planetdomain API so, fingers-crossed. If anyone's still got the NR issue and is interested in how I get on, reply here and I'll keep you posted. Optimistically, Mark
  9. I'm getting the same error message (give or take). My hosting provider has white-listed Netregistry. Netregistry aren't changing anything just for an isolated issue, but suggested I turn off Windows firewall. When pressed, they stated that port 443 is open. If anyone has got past this error, I'd be very pleased to hear how they did it. I don't have a huge number of domains to transfer but it may take less energy to fix the problem than to hop "out of the frying pan".
  10. I've just configured it for the first time and run into this error. The 'name' field wasn't mentioned in the blurb but I'd imagine it's arbitrary. The url, username and password have been getting me in fine on PC and iMac browsers but I've blown it away and re-entered them (and the Access Key) a couple of times (including the AK in configuration.php) just to be sure. I've upgraded to 4.4.2 along the way, but no cigar. The App Store doesn't think I need to upgrade iWHMCS, so I'll keep watching this thread. If I have any joy, I'll let you know. Be lucky!
