For now there is no difference between admin roles, you can either allow or not for users. First, your customers can only unblock ip's on servers with they active hosting accounts. On login, the costumer ip is checked in the server csf.deny file (you may turn this off). In the configurations you can chose if you want to allow an ip removal search box for specific user groups or to all of your costumers.

The module is using the whmcs servers list with cpanel server type. You dont have to add nothing to your cPanel server, but you must connect as root from your whmcs and host your whmcs on a different server, otherwise there is no much sense in using the module because your client is blocked and cannot login to his whmcs account. Regarding other issue that was mention above, our support team worked with the client and the problem source was that whmcs and the client server was the same... anyway, we are using the module as well and we will keep support it and release updates to match with whmcs system.

Yes, it is encoded with ioncube.
