tsiedsma
I have custom fields set on several packages and I've noticed if a customer upgrades from Package 1 to Package 2, the custom field gets blanked out. The same happens if I choose a new package from the drop down list and apply it to a current hosting product. I understand each product has it's own custom fields, but this is very annoying. I would think the field names could be compared and if they match, the value carries over.
MonkeyMagic
I just discovered on the weekend that we are having the exact same problem. We have custom fields setup for some packages. We changed the package to another package in the series (which has the same custom fields) and after the package change, all custom fields were wiped and we had to contact the customer to get the details again.
cyberneticos
GRIPE We've been having ths problem for about 2 years, and yes, it is very frustrating to see your root password and DA password dissapear,. and have to contact the DC to install a knoppix to reset it. SOLUTION Matt, if you can check and see if the custom field names are the same, retain the data.
