chisel
I downloaded V3 the day it was released and got myself setup with a demo license. I am approaching the end of my demo license and am going to purchase WHMCS. I have already entered most of my historical data into the system and got it working. I have seen throughout this forum that things have been 'fixed' in v3 since it was released, but the version number has remained the same. Should I reinstall to get these fixes applied? To do this can I just replace the entire file structure, and just leave the database the way it is? I dont want to be running an out of date v3, if the current one for download is of a newer version...?
Willx
Not sure how its demo works but i bet you can just replace all files just keep the DB as it is.. But not sure if the DB only limits you to so much for the demo so you may need to go and use a diff db but just convert any info over

I recommend that you save your config.php file and any template edits you have edited. Deleted the rest, upload the new v3 and place config.php as well as the template changes you have made. That should do the trick. From, Adam
