Transistor
I haven't used my WHMCS for a while and I've allowed my SSL cert to expire. I can't log in as administrator anymore. Is this related to my SSL expiring? i.e. Do I have to have a valid SSL cert to log in to WHMCS? Many thanks.
simplybe
No the ssl can be expired but your browser will give you a warning message.
Transistor
I found the problem. My admin folder had .htaccess as follows: AuthType Basic AuthName "adminprotect" AuthUserFile "/home/username/.htpasswds/public_html/whmcs/admin/passwd" require valid-user I have a very vague recollection of installing this for enhanced security. The .htaccess file it points to was empty so I could never log in. I don't remember where I got these settings or how it was supposed to work or when it stopped working.
