re coupon recurring usage

generic

Recommended Posts

I want to offer someone 50% off for one year on the monthly recurring charge. I want people to be able to sign up anytine this year and get this offer which will give them the next 12 months (from whenever they sign up) at 1/2 off.

To accomplish this...

Do I need to create a new coupon for every person I want to offer this too?

To end the 1/2 off, do I only have to pick a coupon expiration date of one year in the future?

Will that expiration date stop the discount for all existing clients using it, or does that date only stop new signups/people from from selecting the discount.

nobody doing this?

right now I am just setting up a reminder in the calendar as to when their discount is over, since you can only set one expiration date, and you never know when the person will sign up , to give people 50% off for 6 or 12 months, i see no other way of accomplishing this other than a generic 50% off promotion and marking down in the calendar when i need to update their accounts.

I am still worried that i will not be able to stop a 50% off coupon for one account after they sign up, while leaving others who signed up a few months later with the same coupon and who still need to get their full 6 month discount still able to continue to use the coupon.

I can stop coupons at any time on any account not affecting the others that still may be using it right?
