kullar
I want to reinstall just my whmcs files because they have become corrupted. I don't want to create a new database, I want to keep my current one with the existing products/services I added to it. What i did so far is to delete all current files, download a fresh copy, unzip it, add it to the correct folder (delete the install folder) and update the configuration.php page so it points to the correct database. On the surface, this seemed to work but now I've run into problems e.g. the 'order' button on cart.php will not do anything. All i need to really know is the correct method for 'reinstalling' just the files. thanks pk
PC-Mike
I am wanting to do the same thing as i am getting some PHP errors, and it seems easiest to do a "fresh" install, then restore my database (I'm guessing)... so I too want to know how is this done? @kuller Did you make sure the version you unpacked and uploaded was the same version as the one you previously had? If not, I would guess you need to use the same version that the database currently relates to, and then run an upgrade later.
kullar
hi, its been a while since this happened. I remember that the reason I had problems was due to a virus. If I remember correctly, I downloaded a new set of files and replaced the current set of files. The only file I kept from the old install was the config file (after I had cleared out the virus from it)
