cix7medi
Here is my example of WHMCS integrated with Joomla. It's not perfect but it's close. Feel free to comment as well as post links to your own sites where you have done the same. I'm not as sensitive as some other forum members and won't take your posts as a "hijack". Hopefully, none of your posts will be deleted (as mine were in another thread). cyfered6
One question: Why sell hosting if you make publicity for HG ?
rangermoore
I don't understand the Host Gator ad on the bottom of your page?....
cix7medi
I sell hosting for what I am interested to deal with as a reseller. Some visitors are interested in services I do not provide so I show HG ads as well. I still get an affiliate commission from HG if a sale is generated from my site. It's like if I were a care dealership that only sold compact cars. I could still advertise for another dealership that sold SUVs and Trucks and possibly get a referral fee from the sales the other dealership secure. But, I can also see the potential for losing long term clients to HG so I may remove the banners at some point in the future. 11:55 PM - You know, you guys are right. I'm removing them now. Thanks for the input! Edited October 27, 2009 by cix7medi
MediaPlayStudios
I feel what you are trying to do but promoting HG will defiantly under undercut your business in the future and I can understand your vision but at the same time yo must think of it this what HostGator is your competition. But I love the aspect, content, and layout of your site. But the only think I would suggest that you need to add is a "Live Help" system that why if customers have questions right away than can speak with someone
cix7medi
Great suggestion! I had neglected to add live help because I know it will be quite some time before I can actually provide that 24/7. I may do as many other hosts and have the button but only have it show "available" when I can actually provide it. Thanks for the reply.
dkent
Nice site, pretty modern.
redrat
Nice site, pretty modern. Nice site. There is only one thing that I am not too keen on regrading your Plans page......... That table doesn't work too well visually with the borders which just need not be there at all. EG: border='0' The shading contrast alone will nicely ensure the rows are easily followed with the eye. That grey is not quite right either for my tastes as it is a shade too dark. But you might also like to consider using a complimentary site colour instead of that grey anyway? Table borders are also a tad old fashioned really. All in all though, good work!
railto
nice site, i was looking at that template myself but the bar running full width put me off it. I like what you have done with it MediaPlayStudios, not all hosts have live chat on their site. All you need is to show some way of getting in touch 24/7 and people will be happy.
cix7medi
redrat: I completely agree on the table borders issue. I don't like the either. I'll update that shortly.

How did you get the domin lookup to stay withing Joomla? I have stripped the template and used a wrapper and this works well except if I use the domain lookup snippet when you click go it just goes to the stripped php file. Cheers, Kevin.
rasta
Can you provide step by step instructions about what u had to edit in the header/footer before including relative paths
whatcomweb
That is a really good looking site. I've used Joomla in the past and like it, but I'm still leaning towards a Wordpress integration. Has anyone seen a good example of that?
cix7medi
Spionred: I'm not using a wrapper. This is basic html loaded into a module position. The results are loaded into WHMCS (which has the same header and footer as the Joomla side). If you simply need to domain search box to use from your Joomla site you can generate the code from your WHMCS admin panel and then edit it to look like your Joomla site. rasta: I actually worked my way from the Joomla source. I deleted everything from the "body" then painstakingly replaced all the necessary code (including css files and images) on my WHMCS page. There is a Joomla component out that does this too but I cannot tell you how well it works as I have never used it. whatcomweb: I believe you should be able to achieve identical results with Wordpress or any other CMS as long as you're willing to work your way through the code.
columbusgeek
Just my opinion, take it for what it is, but I think having the giant full width bit on the client page isnt needed. Same goes for the domain lookup. It puts most of your client area on, or below the fold, thus I have to scroll down on almost every page. If I am in the client area, odds are, I am a client, or in teh process of being one. No need to continue to proclaim the reasons to join.
alanfoot
Hello. Your site look pretty cool! I want to integrate my WHMCS to a Joomla site, Have you used used J!WHMCS ? or what do you recomend?
IntaHost-Steve
It looks nice, but this template is becoming way too common imo, also I have to agree on the table page. I dont know if you have already changed the table styling from the earlier comments, but the colours are a little awful if I may be so bold... Your site is full of colour and styles, yet the price plan table is plain as can be, jazz it up a bit. Use one of the colours already in your site to colour the main table headers and perhaps lighten the colour for sub headings within the table. At the moment it is so bland on the page it does stand out, but for all the wrong reasons.
