inline3
Hi Guys I found this script on the net for a self hosted namespinner and wondered if it could be intergrated into whcms. I'm not much of a coder but thought i'd share it and see if someone could make a namespinner that could be used no matter what host your with. Here is a link to the page; http://www.domainafterlife.com/2009/08/make-a-name-spinner-easy-in-php-free-code/
WebWorker
Looks interesting, but the results that are returned wouldn't necessarily be available for registration. You could possibly take the generated array of domain names and query your registrar for availability of each one, but then you'd be hitting them up 10-20 times. You'd want to make sure your registrar is cool with that, and also be prepared for a performance hit to that page.

I have started to think of alternatives to enom. Because I would like to offer this service to customers but am unable to use the enom one as it lacks with a few domain names. Namely .com.au in aust this is quite popular. If someone is reading this post and feels they are up to the challenge of making this work I'd be very grateful. This seems like a project that is a little over my head at this stage.
